The advertising firm for the hotel did an outstanding job, but the reality was not good. We did stay here during COVID Thanksgiving so we weren't expecting perfection. The attention to detail was missing . Because of COVID, there was no service. The restaurant was closed most of the time. When open the bar tender had to do triple duty. The bar closed at 7pm! For a hotel that opened in 2017, the management had done little to keep it up. When we arrived at our room the trim for the card reader was missing, so you scanned your card to Hole in the door. Getting in the room we found that the TV didn't work. They did send someone up who was able to reboot the system. There was no concierge. The one man staff was able to direct us to other hotels, to get a meal. The bed was miserable. In the morning I was pleased to find a scale, but then disappointed to find that it didn't work. The lobby was very uncomfortably cold. It is pretty clear to see that the management of the NOPSI is not doing its job.

Hello Randyjac0 and thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that we did not exceed both your expectations and ours. Our full restaurant is available Friday-Sunday when we are at our highest occupancies. We do have a full lineup of upscale Grab and Go options midweek for our guests with our bar open all 7 days. I agree that the missing wireless symbol should have been caught prior to your arrival and we are addressing that internally. There were some TV issues from our provider that were brief and have since been resolved. Our team is here to assist in ay way and I am glad that the front desk was able to point you in the right direction. As the General Manager, your feedback falls squarely on me and for that, I take full responsibility. Though its sounds like the service that you received as well as the cleanliness of the hotel was above expectations, we obviously strive to create a wonderful experience from start to finish. We will build on what we have already accomplished and use this feedback to improve further. I am always available so should you like to speak more, please feel free to email me at jquilio@nopsihotel.com. Safe travels. -Joseph Quilio, General Manager

Hotel is very limited now with Covid which is understandable, but the staff is not helpful or trying to accommodate, the general feel is that they are trying to do the minimum possible. They charge for cleaning your room unless you stay more than 4 days, which we did (how does that relevant to covid? theres no covid on the 4th day?) 'breakfast' they sell at their website is a muffin and black coffee - they dont even provide milk. And the list goes on and on... Better options are available in New Orleans.

Hello Itaibe and thank you for the feedback. I apologize that we did not meet your expectations. As with many hotels and businesses, we are not at the staffing levels pre-Covid. But our team takes great pride in the service given and cleanliness of our hotel. The cleaning schedule is guidance from the American Hotel and Lodging Association in that it puts more emphasis on checkout cleaning between guests as well as decreases exposure between guests and associates as well as associates travelling between occupied rooms daily. I see that you were on the continental breakfast package which is an option of three pastries and coffee. We do have our Public Service restaurant available on the weekends for a full service breakfast should you want to upgrade. Though this is listed on the reservation you booked, our team should have explained that at check in as well so I will review our processes with them. Should I be of any more help, I am always available at jquilio@nopsihotel.com. My apologies again for not meeting your expectations. Safe travels. -Joseph Quilio, General Manager

Great location, adjacent with a short walk to the French Quarter. Delicious Vietnamese restaurant across the street with the best Pho, including that in Hanoi! Sleep hygene is a consideration. People are often sleep-deprived including during travel. The quiet and secluded interior rooms lack a view but gain a very quiet place to sleep. The bed was very comfortable. The room was large, and the bathroom was super clean. The lobby is dramatic with high ceilings, and the staff makes you remember to be safe in the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay here and go for a walk around New Orleans, even in inclement weather.

Hello dldmia and thank you for the 5 star review! We are happy to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. Sleep is absolutely one of the quintessential necessities of travel and the beds we have have always received wonderful feedback. The rooms also maintain a calming quiet to them which all travelers appreciate. I will also make sure to recognize the Housekeeping team. They have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of the room. But we are absolutely providing even more attention to all our checkout rooms in the current times as well as all of the recommendations for a safe environment. We look forward to having you visit again soon (and get some Pho along the way!). Safe travels. -JQ

We stayed at the Nopsi this weekend for my brother’s wedding. Great location and great room! I really loved the huge bathroom! Great service too - when my 1 year old got sick they helped us get what we needed. I was nervous to travel, but they were doing a great job of adhering to safety protocols, and it made me feel very comfortable. I’ll definitely stay there again!! Thanks for a great few days.
