Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

Our check in process was quick and we were welcomed by a very friendly staff that was very helpful. The two bartenders at their lovely bar really made our trip. Not only did they make the best drinks and food but made the best recommendations of other places to eat and visit.

This property is an easy walk into the Quarter and has a streetcar stop right on the block. It is close enough to the action, but far enough to be away from the noise. The lobby area is inviting and the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was recently

The design and layout of the building is fatally flawed which mars the experience of staying here. The biggest problem is that building acts a noise funnel and amplifier. Noise from lobby area carries up the building. I was on the third floor and it was very noisy. In terms

Rooms are not dusty. Renovation is over and done. Balcony rooms are great! True New Orleans feel to these rooms. St. Charles streetcar goes in-front of the hotel. You can hear it but to me its just white noise and I don't notice it.

No pool that I am aware of and no outside seating. It's on a little side street off the main street, a city hotel, not many amenities.
