This was a fantastic hotel with a great location. Close to the action of the French Quarter and within walking distance to Jackson Square and Frenchmen Street. I felt very safe in this location and never had any problems exploring the areas above and below Dauphine street. Rooms were clean and decorated nicely. Front desk and concierge were helpful. I...

Great location! Great walking distance to everything. The valet, housekeeping and concierge were very friendly and most helpful. The rooms were clean. The only downfall is the price and no breakfast. Usually every Holiday inn locations had some sort of complimentary breakfast so he prepared to pay. Overall, the hotel was nice.

My first impression upon arriving to the hotel seeing two guards with guns on their hips will live in my mind forever. Im all for being safe but i think it sends the wrong message to guests. The elevators here are not wheelchair accessible and if someone wasn't with me at all times, there is no way I would have...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on the Chateau LeMoyne. I am sorry that you were displeased with the hotel. The hotel has been recently renovated and met all ADA standards. The elevators were fully modernized. Since then, we have had numerous guests in wheelchairs to use the elevators. Also, both lobby restrooms have the individual...

We stayed at the Chateu LaMoyne for the first time and will never stay anywhere else in New Orleans. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff was very friendly, always available, knowledgeable and professional. We were able to walk to most destinations in the French Quarter and come back to the hotel to relax in the courtyard or...

Can not recommended this hotel enough. Check in was friendly and quick, the rooms & facilities are great. The location was absolutely brilliant, close to Bourbon and Canal streets, but still really private and quiet during the evening. Will definitely stay here again next time.

Checked in Thursday night for Mardi Gras weekend. Front desk was completely unresponsive - did not attend phone calls, ran out of extra blankets. Architecture was nice, though Holiday Inn does not get points for that! Oh and do not rent a car if you intend to stay in French Quarter. Valet use is mandatory for all hotels with charges...

Located within easy walking distance to Bourbon and Canal streets, but far enough off the strip to enjoy quiet nights. The bar had great food and incredible happy hour specials. Pool was fun and refreshing, and we enjoyed the pool side bar. We would definitely come back!

Well! This Holiday Inn has definitely stepped up their game to incorporate their surroundings! Cool, retro/industrial decor from the lobby to our fairly spacious room. This was a trip with 4 girls, and we all had plenty of space for our stuff. We had a balcony room with charm galore, and a nice little balcony to watch the passersby. Perfect...

Stopped for the weekend in NOLA and was pleased by this hotel. It is ideally placed in the French Quarter, just a couple streets from Bourbon Street. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Beds and bathroom are new and modern. Only down is the parking that is expensive, but trying to street park is really a pain. Will stop again...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
