My daughter, her boyfriend, and my wife, stayed at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans for the Fried Chicken Festival. They happened to be judges for this event. My daughter and her boyfriend are avid Ritz Carlton fans. My wife wrote a review of her fantastic experience at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans, and now she would like to relate an experience with a special gift shop employee. Our daughter fell in love with the New Orleans-Ritz Carlton hotel scent in the lobby. Her birthday is December 22nd, and my wife new that nothing would make our daughter happier than having her apartment in New York City have that same scent. We are from the south; Savannah Georgia to be exact. My wife was able to contact the front desk and Thomas gladly connected her to the gift shop. Denica could not have been more helpful, more personable, and just in general, OUTSTANDING as far as customer service goes. She took her order, shipped it immediately, and we just received our package. Our daughter will be so excited, and I must admit, they are so lovely and fragrant, that I almost want to keep them for ourselves! Thank you Denica, for making sure our girl will have a very happy birthday. See you next year at the Fried Chicken Festival!

The hotel room is clean, the staff were great, other guest were snobs. We appreciated them granting our request for an early check- in due to my husband’s medical condition. I love the paintings and antique pieces. The pool is small but heated so it’s a plus. The girls enjoyed the gym, for eating beignets most of the time they really did enjoyed the gym time. We enjoyed the live jazz band and great dessert at the Davenport Lounge. The location is not so great it you like it quiet.

Sensational! We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton for four nights in November 2023 and had a great experience. Lovely, large, quiet room with extremely comfortable bed and soft linens, cool temperature (great for sleeping), and exceptional Housekeeping staff made this a memorable stay. Byron at the bar makes killer cocktails - we particularly loved his Sazarac take - and trumpeter Jeremy Davenport and his jazz band are not to be missed in the Davenport Lounge. Major kudos, too, to the three members of the Concierge team - Karen in particular. A memorable stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Recommend taking Ubers to get around. Parking in the French Quarter is tough and expensive.

Attended a conference here in January 2023. Hotel was great. Conveniently located close to all downtown has to offer. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was amazing. They have the best chips (made in house), I've ever had. Staff were helpful. There is an entrance into Bourbon St. Which although very historic, wasn't/didn't feel safe at all. We also spent a lot of time in the Chandelier Bar (I think) at 4 seasons. The French restaurant in that hotel is amazing.

A beautiful looking hotel but the walk up to it was not, and it lacked any atmosphere. The room was spacious, the staff were friendly, and the decor was very elegant. But it’s not in a nice location, there were many unsavoury types of people standing outside every time we left the hotel and the breakfast was only provided on 1/3 of our days stay.

Thank you Ritz New Orleans for making my 40th birthday so special. Every moment was special. A special thank to Eranisha who made my trip amazing! Excellence in guest experience! Another thank you to Randy at the concierge desk for setting us up for an amazing tour, but finally everyone should see Byron the bartender. Thank for making this the best NOLA experience. Can’t wait for my friends and I to return!

We loved this hotel! It’s almost in the French Quarter. But far enough outside to escape the crowds. It was also extremely secure. The staff was delightful and extremely helpful. Our room was perfect and extremely comfortable. We will definitely return.

The Ritz-Carlton has, by far, the best marble floors in the world. Ideal for bachelor party experiences and they are oh-so-opulent. I highly recommend that all future bachelor parties take place on these marble floors.

The service and amenities at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans are top Notch. I had a courtyard room, and although small in size, was clean and quiet. The staff at check in was pleasant and Bryon, the bartender is a great asset to the hotel. The gym was well equipped. I had a massage and the spa was very nice and the massage wonderful. The relaxation room was quite crowded due to special events. The area around the Ritz, is quite dirty with many transients and a lot of drug use. I would have preferred more security presence at the Canal Street entrance and in the lobby.

What a fabulous stay! I stayed for four nights in a variety rooms, from one bed for one night (a solo stay), to two king beds for two nights (sharing with friends), and two double beds for one night (sharing with one friend). All rooms had incredibly comfortable beds, wonderful bathrooms including spacious showers, and good sound insulation from the noise of New Orleans. The service was superb. Aside from one very grumpy bartender, we were amazed by the friendly, professional service we received. Byron and Jason at the bar were fantastic. The live music on Friday and Saturday night was a blast. The hotel is in a perfect location. Very easy to walk to Bourbon Street, Royal Street, and Frenchman Street, and we caught a streetcar to the Garden District right across the street. It was the perfect girls’ weekend. Thank you Ritz Carlton!
