Stayed here for 3-4 nights in September. They stay was ok. Unfortunately, the unprofessional manager ruined any possibility for a future stay. So, I forgot an expensive jacket in the room I was staying in so I called the hotel the very next morning. I spoke to the the male manager directly, and I offered to pay any shipping fee's...

This is a great way to see the city. We caught the historic streetcar on Canal Street and took it round trip. It is an inexpensive leisurely trip and you see many beautiful homes and much more. It passes by the museums and colleges. The cost is $1.25 one way or you can buy a day pass for $3.00 which,...

I wish I'd paid attention to reviews, because what people say about dirty rooms and terrible maintenance are true. First, the hotel claims it was recently renovated. This is clearly a lie, since nothing in my room had been updated (or cleaned) since about the 1970s. The room was tiny with decades-old sheets; the bathroom was literally falling apart --...

The room itself was clean and large, sheets and pillows need to be replaced there were stains and holes in them. Was very disappointed to find that the heater didn't work at all. Would've called the office but they close at 11 and I didn't get to my room for the night till 11:30. So if you're visiting in the...

Refused to refund a room that was double booked MISTAKENLY obviously (mins apart) and also said he had no paperwork that any room was even checked in then LIED and said both rooms were dirty!.. even the...

I will give this place 3 stars. I loved the location with streetcars and bus tours right out front. Loved all the eateries close by too. I love old buildings and love the charm of this one. I feel safe staying here and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was good. Now....there's the room. The bed...

We stayed here before flying out of NO airport. The staff was nice, the location- pretty good with a streetcar stop directly in front. A great little pizza joint next door and a nice little courtyard. Now, the room we were put in could really use some help. Because of the age and charm I can look past a lot....

We booked the accommodation for the free parking which was a real bonus. The streetcar outside was really handy, though it's a nice walk into town too. It wasn't the cleanest place I've stayed though the rooms were full of character and breakfast was nice.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was musky but I think that was down to continual air con use, some aspect of cleanliness lacked in each corner of the room, but it really wasn't that bad on reflection and as you are out and about it doesn't really seem to matter. It was convenient for the price, reception staff friendly...
