The look, location and friendly staff made our 4 night stay great. We easily walked to Willie Mae's for food. The 10-15 minute walk to the French Quarter was what we wanted. Glen provided information about the bus, which we took a few times getting back. After walking all day it was nice to be dropped off right near the...

This place was great! We were really sold on the pool/hot tub! The bed in the Scarlet Ohara room was sooo comfy! I could have stayed there all day! Breakfast was delicious every morning, we had long conversations and laughs before we left for the day. We had wine on the veranda of the Solarium room, our friends stayed there....

I don't understand the negative reviews I loved the place. When I asked for more linen I received them right away Glen was so helpful and entertaining we couldn't have asked for a better host The house is a gem and NOT in disrepair. If you want modern historic bed and breakfasts are NOT for you. A home made breakfast...

We just returned from our second trip to HH Whitney House. As per last visit, everything was splendid. Glen, the owner/host is a wonderful introduction to the city. He has great sources of information regarding history, weird facts about the city and has excellent recommendations to provide in terms of dining and entertainment. My boyfriend and I feel totally welcomed,...

We were three guys traveling to NO. We got a beautiful room with a private bathroom and balcony (solarium suite). Two shared a double bed and one was on a rollout bed. The hosts are great guys, and they will do everything to make your stay enjoyable! Highly recommend the HH Whitney House.

Glen is a host in the truest sense of the word- a mensch whose sense of humor and passion for his hometown elevated our experience of New Orleans. His spot-on recommendations (restaurants, bike rental, walking tour), breakfast and coffee service, and honest appraisal of the many possible things to do ("don't believe the hype re. that voodoo cemetery tour") were...

My family and I stayed in the the bride and groom suites for 4 days around the new year. We had a great time, Glen and Randy are very hospitable, we had great breakfasts and enjoyed meeting the other guests. Glen and Randy never steered us wrong on where to go. If you're looking for a place to stay that embodies the heart and soul of New Orleans, then this is the place to be. A generous host, comfortable rooms, lovely food, wonderful people. This place has so much character... Be sure to ask about their resident ghost. It's perfectly located about 10 minutes walking distance from the French Quarter -...
