We had a great time at the R&B B&B on Frenchman Street! Karen was an awesome innkeeper / host, super friendly and gave us lots of great local tips. The location was great - super close to everything, but just far enough from the main action that it was nice and quiet at night. Very comfortable stay.

The R&B Bed & Breakfast it in my opinion, the best place to stay in N.O., right in the heart of all the action on Frenchmen St. Each room has a different theme associated with music. Our room was the Blue Room. There's a lovely little courtyard to relax in with a waterfall and lots of plants. Karen Jayet-Castaneda is a super innkeeper, I highly recommend it.

My wife and I came upon R&B Bed and Breakfast while looking for a place to stay in New Orleans other than the French Quarter. The Reviews are spot on. The location is great. Steps away for the clubs and restaurants on Frenchmen Street. A short walk from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Karen is a marvelous host. The big and comfortable rooms are well appointed and great breakfasts will start your day right. I need a couple of extra stars for R&B Bed and Breakfast.

We did a long weekend in New Orleans for the French Quarter Festival. It was not our first time and we always stay in a fine hotel. We were last-minute booking and decided on this property because of the reviews the location and also because breakfast was included, which we found challenging last time we were in town. There is no way to adequately explain what a great place this is to stay. Karen goes above and beyond in terms of making you feel welcome and just extraordinary service. My husband actually said of all the concierges we have ever had, she’s the absolute best and it is really true. Take her advice and cabs to and from the airport are so much less expensive than Uber or Lyft and faster! The home itself is beautiful and spotless. So much to recommend. It is our new home away from home. Karen, we will be back soon XXOO…

This hotel is very convenient to go The French Quarter by foot and to ride streetcar and bus. Also, this location is between sightseeing places and local attraction. There are nice cafes, a bakery and supermarket near by. If you love music, I recommend! There are many good music bars on the next block, Frenchmen street. But it isn’t loud around the hotel. There is a park in front of this hotel and inside is comfortable. The host is kind and friendly. You can enjoy her breakfast. I especially liked her quiche and coffee bread. In addition, there is a water server, we didn’t need to buy bottled water. We could save money. If we travel to NewOrleans again, I hope stay here. I already miss the host.

Ms. Karen was the most amazing host making sure everything was taken care of. We got in early Ms. Karen let us drop our luggage off before we wondered the city. Beds were so comfy. The house sits across from the lively Washington Square. With being steps away from all the best music venues on Frenchmen its was a quiet nights sleep. Having a snack station to munch throughout the day and night was a major help. Make sure if you need anything you let them know beforehand and they will have it ready for you. If you get that chance enjoy a few moments in the beautiful courtyard. Thank you Ms Karen for a great stay cant wait to come back!

We loved our stay at the R&B! Karen was simply the most fabulous host ever. Her recommendations for food, drinks, music, etc were spot on! She helped with everything we needed- rides to the airport, tickets for shows. She is a gem. Breakfasts were great. Fresh strawberries. Quiche, melon, and an assortment of other delectables! Courtyard was a great place to lounge as was the parlour. Rooms were comfy and we loved the art including the lamps. The R&B has a great location. Save room for treats from Ayu Bakehouse!

The R&B Bed and Breakfast was charming, quirky and unique - it completely met our expectations. Our suite was comfy and provided privacy. Karen, the innkeeper, was fantastic. She was friendly, informative, and inviting. Breakfasts were delicious and convenient. The location can't be beat!

This B&B was a wonderful place in a great location. The room was comfortable and though it's close to Frenchmen's street (a plus), the room was quiet. I would stay here again when I return to NOLA!!
