Thank you for the kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We just received replacement mattress pads to assist with the hardness of the mattress and are installing them as I type this. As for the Wi-Fi, we do know...More

We stayed a week in the Wyndham La Belle Maison and left on a Friday. On Saturday I realized I had left my small black jewelry bag in the small upper left drawer in the bathroom. I went to the resort and spoke with the...More
Our recent stay here was our second time here. The staff is always very kind and greeted us every time we passed them. There is a wonderful private court with seating, complimentary coffee and tea all day, and popcorn in the afternoon. Great place for...More
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

I would try Fat Catz Music Bar and Famous Door. Fat Catz is kind of a hit and miss, depending on the evening and Famous Door has cover bands. Typically you can find out events and bands in these locations and plan an evening. Country is a little harder to come by in NO. Usually if they're going to not play rock, rap, R&B or top 40, then it's going to be New Orleans Jazz. I am not a jazz person, but being in NO it almost feels "right" to sit and listen. They are usually amazing musicians and a treat to watch no matter what they're playing!
