We loved our stay at Sully Mansion, and will definitely stay at Sully Mansion every time when we visit New Orleans! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We like sitting in the living room, sipping wine (oh yes, they have the honor system mini bar, great idea!), chatting with friends and other guests. The porch and court yard are inviting,... More

I was with a group of 7 girls for a bachelorette weekend and Sully Mansion was the perfect place to call home. Nancy and Gee (sorry if this is spelled wrong, Gee) were delightful. Each morning we had a lovely spread of continental-type breakfast items, accompanied by a hot, freshly cooked entree. They had juice and coffee, jams and butter,... More

You ladies are so welcome. We are usually nervous when we hear bachelorette party but each of you were just lovely guests, you and your husbands (including the soon to be husband) can come back anytime! More

We loved our room. It was a nice old house, but the furniture was not to period. Surprisingly there was always street parking available. Breakfast was fine. I was disappointed that you had to pay for drinks like bottled water. Other B&Bs we have stayed at there are snacks and wine out in the evenings. They did leave a decanter... More

We felt iit important to respond to to few observations int his review for future guests. The Sully Mansion is i a residential area surrounded by mansions which are private homes so the availability of safe, on street parking should not come as a surprise to any guests. Unlike downtown hotels you can park for free and be confident your... More

We always do some research before our trips and we found this B&B to have good reviews, location and parking on premises. Upon arriving we were very impressed with everything we saw. Beautiful mansion, immaculate grounds, plenty of lounging around space and easy parking. We were greeted by Gracie (the resident pooch) and shown around the main house. We sat... More

We truly regret that this guest experienced an unsatisfactory degree of interaction with us. We trust that readers will discern from the vast majority of our reviews that unsatisfactory interactions are the exception to our customary level of guest services. It must be said that innkeepers do have personal lives and, as with all humans, there are times when personal... More

Sully may be a great B&B but it is horrible for a wedding reception. Reception was from 7:00 to 10:00 on June 4, 2016. Drinks: signature drink was suppose to be Whipped Vodka and orange JUICE. They served Vodka and cheap orange SODA with a can of whipped cream sitting on the bar. Beer was in small, almost miniature bottles.... More

We want to start by expressing our regret to the couple as they were very nice people and they deserve a good party. However we were also as surprised by all their criticism as they were very complimentary about the food service and ambiance during the event. The review came as a surprise and disappointment. For those booking events with... More

Sully Mansion was so much more than expected. We stayed for a birthday party so didn't book ourselves. The room was gorgeous, the location stunning and the hosts charming and helpful. Definitely one to recommend. Oh and gorgeous pup to boot.

The Sully Mansion, and her family, are a consistent piece of southern hospitality. Nancy and Guy are wonderfully hospitable hosts, and their knowledge of New Orleans/Garden District are spot on for travelers looking for specific experiences for their stay. The house is a beautiful piece of history lovingly restored, and displaying local artistry on her walls. Generous sized rooms, great... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Sully Mansion. We enjoyed our visit very much. It is a beautiful mansion in Garden district, we spent most of the time on amazing porch or in beautiful manicured garden. The house is really big and well designed, we had all of the privacy we needed. The breakfast was yummy and varied every... More

Had a wonderful sat at Sully Mansion. The rooms are beautiful, well kept, spacious and clean - just a charming home. The breakfast is quaint, filling and flexible. Nancy, Guy and Gracie make you feel welcome and run a top notch B&B. We definitely plan to return. The location is awesome, too. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Checked out May 5th after a nine night stay, for my third consecutive year. Nancy, Guy, Gracie & "The Mansion" are tops in my book. The Fournier's make you feel at home when you're away from home. Location, location, location. One block from the St Charles St. streetcar & four blocks from the Magazine St bus. Two major arteries leading... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
