This historical B&B is the place to stay! I visited just this past week and stayed in the Tchoupitoulas room. It is lovely! It has it's own private entrance through the courtyard, and it's located in the back, inner corner so it's very quiet and private. It's decorated very quaintly with a nice balance of modern and antique touches that blend beautifully. The amenities are luxurious and plentiful. The hostess truly anticipates your needs and it shows! Have I mentioned that this place is SPOTLESS?!!!! I am very particular about cleanliness, and I have to say this is THE cleanest place I've ever stayed. The Innkeeper is very communicative, accommodating, and responsive. There are many stores and restaurants in close proximity, and several delivery options in case you'd like to stay in and just rest. Book your stay here ~ you'll be so very glad you did!

The Mansion is simply enchanting. The bed was so comfortable we could barely get ourselves to leave the room and explore the city!! The air conditioner was wonderful, it was like an oasis in the middle of all the humidity. The neighborhood is to die for, right in the heart of the Garden District, a giant oak hangs over the mansion. The location is a block away from the historic St. Charles streetcar that takes you right to the French Quarter. The staff was wonderful, they even noticed it was our anniversary and left us local chocolates and a hand-written note. We will never stay anywhere else in NOLA!

First off I have to say Melinda was so lovely and professional. Breakfast every morning was absolutely superb . The sully Mansion Architecture out of this world magnificent. The part I loved most about my stay at the the sully mansion was how personal and private the property is . There’s only 7 rooms so I felt so safe with knowing who is coming in and out of the mansion and once again Melinda was absolutely charming . We will be back in New Orleans in May and will definitely be staying here again .

My cousin and I (both seniors) enjoyed a fabulous three days at Sully Mansion in April. The historic home is clean, very comfortable and beautiful. We fell in love with the gorgeous stained glass windows over the staircase. This quiet area in the Garden District cannot be beaten for convenience with ample street parking and within walking distance of restaurants on Magazine Street and the St. Charles street trolley. We felt pampered in this gorgeous historic home, surrounded by beautiful flowers and wicker chairs on the front porch for relaxing. The owner, Andreas, and the manager, Melinda, were both warmly welcoming and very helpful as we got oriented to the area. When the trolley did not come as scheduled, Andreas immediately scheduled an Uber and showed us seniors how to summon Uber. They each recommended restaurants which were stellar. The breakfasts were lovely, varied and delicious, served in the dining room where a common fridge stocked drinks and an honesty bar with snacks was well stocked. Nothing was overlooked in an effort to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. When we absentmindedly left our jackets in the closet as we departed, Andreas contacted us and immediately mailed them to our homes. The location, the warm hospitality, the delicious breakfasts and the beauty of Sully Mansion earned it a 5 star rating from us in every category and created wonderful New Orleans memories!

The owner and staff are taking COVID-19 protocols very seriously while still providing a welcoming, relaxing experience. The mansion is tidy and cleaned to perfection. Parking is easy as is the walk to local restaurants and shops.

We were in town to visit family. In light of covid concerns I felt more comfortable at a smaller property and this location worked well. The room and the entire property were beautiful and super-clean.
We enjoyed evenings on the porch with beer and wine. In these strange times, we got takeout from Commander's Palace right around the corner. Looking forward to a future stay when we can go for a proper sit down meal there.

I recently stayed at the Sully Mansion for a weekend while moving my daughter to Loyola. The location is perfect for access to the city as well as being able to enjoy the Garden District and its incredible architecture. To be able to stay in one of these mansions is a magnificent experience. Melinda was a perfect host and has created a truly one of a kind experience. I loved the intimate feel and the breakfast was perfect. Coming back to the huge and perfectly appointed room was a highlight of the stay. I will attempt to stay at the Sully Mansion every time I return to NOLA.

This mansion is just beautiful. It couldn’t be in a better location. Just one block from the trolley stop and easy walking distance to Gracious Bakery on the corner and the shops on Magazine Street. This is the perfect place for all travelers but especially those that are solo like myself. It is a safe location day and evening to freely walk and explore. Melinda the manager is great with wonderful suggestions of things to do. She makes you feel right at home. Free parking is available on the street just steps from the mansion. It’s a great place to stay especially if you are a first time visitor to the area.

Rather than stay downtown or in the French Quarter with the crowds, we decided to stay in the historic "Garden District" of mansions from the 1800s. Bourbon Street is only a short ride by streetcar, and the streetcar is only a 3 minute walk from the mansion. But the Sully Mansion is a special opportunity to spend some time 150 years in the past. The home is immaculate, and quiet. What we loved most was the history and architecture of this mansion and all the mansions in this neighborhood. One of the best parts of our New Orleans visit, was simply walking around the Garden District admiring the homes. Sully Mansion is a much more civilized way to visit New Orleans. We hope to visit again soon.

I can’t say enough nice things about our stay at the Sully Mansion! The proprietor (Andrea) and her team are amazing, and mansion is a lovely place to stay! The location in the garden district is amazing, and the street cars make your life as a tourist so easy!

We stayed in the Prytania room, which was just up on the second floor. There were amazing facilities in this room particularly! The towels were big and fluffy, and the shower a great size to clear out a sweaty day of walking! The bed was super comfy and the room was quiet and private.

Let me say, the breakfasts were perfect, light and refreshing, varied and tasty! Love the fruit (which was fresh and so well presented)! I highly suggest sitting on the patio with your breakfast or afternoon happy hour!

And Andrea, and her staff were amazing. Super responsive and hospitable….answered all our needs and even invited our daughter to join us for breakfast (so kind as she was staying in some local dorms with a college program). A special shout out to her in-laws who were on property visiting and were lovely to spend time with! Also, the housekeeper (who’s name I didn’t get) was lovely and detail oriented!

Looking forward to staying there again one day and definitely would encourage anyone else to stay as well!
