Great great location. Terrific staff and good breakfast. Great value. We would definitely return here and recommend it to any one planning to stay in New Orleans. About 2 blocks from center of Bourbon street but nice and quiet.

The location of this hotel was great. It was easy to walk to everything we were interested in. Other than that, it was a pretty average hotel. There was no wow factor, although I would return because of the convenience.

We had a great stay at this hotel .The hotel is close to Bourbon street and it's an easy walk to get there. The staff were very helpful to us with arranging tours of New Orleans. Our room was clean and the King sized bed was comfortable.

This is what I would call good value 4 star accommodation. Breakfast included, kind size bed, reasonable size, s little kid but clean but very dark. Good location on the extension of Bourbon St Breakfast was good enough Lifts are secure which is safe and required for New Orleans

A block and a half from Canal St and the gateway to the French Quarter is a great location. The Green Line Trolley runs right passed the hotel. The doormen and valets were pleasant and courteous. The free breakfast was expansivevand quite tasty. We Would likely stay here in the future.

Thank you for your recent stay with us and for your review on the hotel! Hope you had a great time at Jazz Fest...was a little wet this year depending on which weekend you went to. Great to see you enjoyed your time at the hotel. We would love to see you again!

One day we walked from the river in the French Quarter to our hotel. We enjoyed at least five bands along the way and a variety of good food and shopping. The hotel was an ideal location. Our room was a welcome retreat from the busy streets.

Just spent a week here. The rooms (suites) were very spacious. And we were especially pleased with the location. We didn't know when we booked it that the Jazz Festival was happening the week we visited. We were told the room prices are raised during the festival...lesson learned. We were pleased that the rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Also,...

Great location, enjoyed the accessibility to the French Quarter, was their during part of the Jazz Fess, and had to pay a premium rate on those days, a little disappointed in that, as well that hotel didn't have a swimming pool for access, water pressure for shower was somewhat limited and maid service slipped by end of stay.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
