Nice, clean place, friendly staff, great location giving easy walking access to most of NOLA, reasonably priced for the value you receive. Highly recommended. While the building is consistent with modern architecture the staff conveys the message of everything I have always expected of NOLA.A warm, friendly and accommodating energy.

Our party of 4 spent two nights at this hotel after returning from our mother-daughter spring trip caribbean cruise. After a week spent in a crowded cabin we were thrilled with how spacious the room was-high ceilings and a nice view of the city! The room was very clean with super comfy beds & luxurious linens and pillows. Great location-just...

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such wonderful feedback about your stay at our Hampton Inn & Suites. Our staff strives to provide the best customer service they can and I am glad to see they were able to do that. I do apologize that we did not have any gluten-free options but Hilton makes...

Because this hotel (what would be a typical Hampton Inn) is in an historic building, it has a lot of charm. Our room #420 was on the front of the building and featured high ceilings and big sash windows. It was a little noisy when the streetcar rumbled by, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The staff is very helpful and...

We recently returned from a four night stay at the Hampton Inn in the French Quarter. We traveled with two toddlers and had the best stay here! From the valet guys to the front desk employees to the person who came in to help us unlock the bathroom door that my son accidently locked us out of - it was...

Second time to New Orleans and decided to stay in Hampton property this time. Really enjoyed our stay. Large room, clean, comfortable on the 8th floor. Breakfast had plenty of options and very hard working & friendly staff. Elevators are a little clunky like others have said. Front desk staff were very helpful. Would easily recommend this property for the...

This hotel is well located for bourbon street and the street cars. The room was clean but guests coming in late were very noisy on the weekend. It is not fancy and the neighbourhood is a little so so. Breakfast is okay and good enough. The dining area is large. We would probably recommend staying on the other side of...

Overall a very positive stay at a standard 14 story large city hotel. Our room was clean and large with a comfortable bed. The included breakfast buffet was good with great variety. The hotel is located close to the French Quarter (two blocks away), but far enough away to avoid the late night bustle and noise. The hotel is also...

The hotel is located a couple blocks from the french quarter, but easily walkable. There is also a trolley stop within 2 blocks. Hotel was very clean and quite with a great breakfast provided. Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to complete the survey. I'm glad you liked the location, the cleanliness and the breakfast. I apologize about the elevators. We are in the process of modernizing all 4 elevators, but it takes a few months per elevator. Hope to see you again soon! Take care!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
