A short walk to many attractions and a short cab ride to others. Staff very friendly and helpful. Concierge was especially helpful in recommending restaurants and making reservations. In addition she was very friendly and interested in what we preferred.

We visited your hotel for business and pleasure. We found Diane (concierge) to be extremely helpful and friendly. She was a real ray of sunshine every day we saw her. She helped us plan excursions and gave us great directions, always with a smile. She...More

Thank you so much for letting us know how the Front Desk staff was able to take good care of you when we ran into a dilemma. We do hope their attentiveness will keep you coming back whenever you are in NOLA.
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

Every morning there is hot oatmeal and grits, yogurt, cereal, fruit, muffins, toast, bagels, and danishes. Juice of course. There is also biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. Although they do have an omelet bar, it gets so busy you’ll be stuck in que for a good 20+ minutes if they are busy. While they will never run out of food (i should think), if you want an omelet, get in line right away.
Hope this helps :)

The lighting in the room is extremely poor unless u hand in the bedroom where the terrace is. As for the cleanliness that was never an issue. I stayed several nights. The room was clean and I never saw a rodent. There was a bit of mold up by the shower head but that could happen anywhere. I also felt the room was a little dated but I did find the property to be clean. I hope this helps.
