Wonderful staff and excellent rooms. And if that wasn't enough, the breakfasts are absolutely excellent. And you're in a great part of town. This place is an absolute steal. When I return to New Orleans, I will absolutely stay here again.

Really nice service and locations. Booked this for attending a local wedding. Great area, wonderful restaurants and close to the street cars system. The B&B breakfast is extraordinary, the staff equally so. Rooms vary by price, overall a wonderful B%B experience.

I booked the Lulu room since it had a small balcony. Upon arrival during the week in late August we were asked if we would like to upgrade to a bigger room. I declined saying I really wanted a balcony, so we were offered a room with an even larger private balcony at no extra cost. This was amazing customer... More

A new favorite! This b&b has a great vibe, super friendly staff, and is located very close to the trolley car and doggy park! We loved the room, courtyard and breakfast was tasty! A very affordable option that is pet and family friendly. We'll be back!!

This is a great place to stay. Our visit was over the Labor Day weekend, 5 nights. The staff was friendly (great southern charm). The rooms were clean, bright and well maintained. A fantastic court yard. Each morning had southern cooked breakfast. They have free parking. Easy access to the trolley (one block away) which will get to to many... More

We went on a very last minute trip to NOLA (booked hotel while on the road!) and Creole Gardens Guesthouse had an opening, on a holiday weekend, and didn't require a 3 night minimum stay like most B&B's do. The B&B is located in the Garden District, a half block from a St. Charles Streetcar stop, and within walking distance... More

We arrived in the evening after travelling from Nashville, my partner and I and two older teenagers. We were greeted by Andi who is lovely and was very welcoming and helped us with some local knowledge. We were shown to our rooms and we were delighted with them. The courtyard is delightful and the whole place has a lot of... More

We're genuinely thankful for your lovely review and honesty. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your overall stay. While we understand you seem quite happy about the majority of your experience, we're troubled to hear that a few parts of your experience were less than stellar. The service you experienced during breakfast is most certainly... More

We stayed here during Christmas 2015. We used to stay in the French Quarter for years, but the hotel we stayed at, while we liked the rooms, amenities, etc,, it proved more expensive every year we came and with the separate parking costs plus pet fee the hotel became a bit pricey for a short trip. For a change of... More

Creole Gardens is my favorite place to stay in New Orleans. The Garden district has many beautiful homes and is a great place to walk around. The owners and staff there are very friendly and accommodating. Plus it's pet friendly! Creole Gardens is a charming place and full of character.

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
