Pros: great location walking distance to almost everything. Beautiful building. Friendly staff even though they don't solve any issues. Cons: air conditioning runs constantly and it's over your head, loud, thermostat doesn't work Toilet water drips constantly Maid service makes the bed, but that's it. Had to get our own towels and toilet paper. Breakfast is powdered eggs, mushy breads...

Such a great location in the Garden District, street car right across the street. Helpful staff, great restaurant next door. Had my dog with me and a great area to walk her. Would definitely stay there again.

I have been to New Orleans multiple times before, and this hotel has to be of the more pleasant stays I have had in the city. You truly can not beat the location of this hotel! Free parking is a huge, HUGE plus. Many hotels this close to the French Quarter do not offer this amenity, and can charger a...

This is a great hotel located in the Garden District. Good value, excellent service, wonderful staff. The restaurant next door has great Mexican food & drinks at a decent price. The rooms clean, nicely decorated, a make up area separate from the bathroom. The added bonus was a make up mirror with one side magnified..Great for putting on make up....

Friendly Staff , family pet are welcome. Full services with fair price. 24/7 Street bus bring you to most popular places in New Orleans just $3 a day; the bus stop just few feets away from the hotel entrance-very convenience. Highly recommend to stay when people visit New Orleans.

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
