From the moment we arrived at we felt extremely comfortable with the staff at Grenoble House because of their warm welcome. They treated us as if we were regular guests. We absolutely loved our apartment (301) and will definitely refer Grenoble House to all of our family and friends that plan to visit New Orleans.

Ms. Chantelle was the most friendly reception we received! Our suite was beyond what we hoped for! The courtyard and pool area was serene and so peaceful! We wanted to stay longer and should we go back to NO we will definitely go back to Grenoble House!! 😊👍🏻👍🏻😍

Loved it! This place was very charming and I would definitely stay here again. The location was outstanding; steps away from Canal Street to grab the streetcar if you need to go further out of the French Quarters and just one block from Bourbon Street for partying and drinking, but quiet enough that you can get your sleep at night.... Just returned from a very enjoyable 5 night stay, and from the moment the cab dropped us off at the door the staff did everything possible to make our stay memorable. Little touches make a big difference...free iced lemonade, fresh fruit, pastries and water each day. Very peaceful and secure courtyard to unwind after a long day walking around. Simply... More

Great Location, delightful staff and large unique rooms - This was our second time staying here and will be back again. Located in the French Quarter and in easy walking distance to many restaurants and activities.

My husband and I spent three nights in May at Grenoble House. Although we had some real problems with our room when we first arrived, the staff was so completely accommodating and helpful then and throughout our stay, we left with the best of feelings about this hotel. If you are looking for upscale, this is not for you. No... More

From the moment we pulled to the curb we felt at home. The staff was so accommodating. Chantal, we loved you!! The suite was comfortable and so nice. Of course you are in the Quarter and a large city so pack earplugs and you will think you in heaven. Although most of the time we heard nothing but birds chirping... More

The rooms were nice with kitchenettes. All were clean and the desk staff in the daytime were excellent. Night staff was marginal. Felt safe and it was quiet for New Orleans. The property is located just a short walk from all the action of Burbon Street and excellent dining.

Enjoyed our stay at Grenoble House. Had a one bedroom ground floor suite at the back of the hotel - very quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and attentive. Croissants, juice and coffee available for breakfast each morning, Cake available each afternoon. Great location - one block away from Bourbon Street but no noise - and handy to everything... More

Checked into this place based upon Trip Advisor reviews. Still can't figure out how this place received any good reviews. We had a 2nd floor room. The stairs to it were absolutely treacherous, While the room was huge, it was smelly and old. The bedding was thread bare. The furnishings were worn and old. Not beautiful antiques. Just old. It... Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
