The hotel is beautiful and usually has good service however; that was not the case for our weekend stay. The concierge was never available, the front desk in conjunction with their mobile hhonors app on three occasions misrepresented a Diamond member promotion costing us an additional $120 of food and beverage credit. Loyalty usually means something but not for this hotel. They have lost a 25+ year hhonors Diamond member for good and have pulled out corporate account for use. Fraudulent representation is no way to run a business.

The hotel is amazing, just like going back in time to the opulence of the roaring 20’s. Everything has been maintained and upgraded to today’s standards. The staff is top notch as this is a Waldorf Astoria hotel. Situated in walking distance to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street and the Super dome the location is ideal. As we were in the hotel for a conference, the meeting rooms, event services, WiFi, and amenities were over the top. Everyone was courteous, helpful and accommodating. My concierge, Don, recommended several great eateries, local tourist stops, and helped me extend my stay by one day. If you want to stay in an amazing hotel in the heart of the action, don’t hesitate, book the Roosevelt.

Brohde6, Thank you for your recent review of The Roosevelt New Orleans. We appreciate the feedback and are thrilled that you had an amazing time while with us for a business conference. One of the best aspects of our hotel is the ability to host guests for large conferences, leisure trips, or both. Thank you for sharing the story of your stay and we look forward to sharing your kind words with Don, who is certainly one of the best concierges in the business! Thank you for being our guest and we look forward to your next visit.

Very beautiful and romantic hotel. Perfect for our anniversary weekend. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean. Only issue we have were cars racing down the roads at night. This continued to wake us up multiple times every night, all hours. Didn’t get a good sleep. Stayed in Tower 1, room 1-0404. We’ve stayed in hotels right by airports with less noise. I’m sure this being an old hotel plays a big part with the noise enhancement from the street.

Thank you Colefamily6 for choosing our hotel for your anniversary weekend. We love hearing from guests who choose us for these special occasions as we strive to build memorable moments. We are in fact restricted on some of the enhancements we can make as we are classified a historic monument and this distinction comes with responsibilities and limitations. We try to embrace both and this helps give a sense of place. Still we would like to make it up to you on your next stay - simply contact me through this website and we will work on an upgrade with an inside view. Maybe for a birthday or at the very latest for next year's celebration. Just keep our information and let us know. The staff at the Roosevelt Hotel.

My daughter, and I had a great visit to the Roosevelt coffee shop earlier in the week, until they refused to let her use the lobby restroom. Today I called and asked about their restroom access policy, and was told that the front desk expected guests with rooms to use their room keys to access the facilities, and that the coffee shop worker should have lent her a key. She had asked for a key at the front desk, and was told she needed a room key, which she did not have. She was not directed to the coffee shop to obtain a key. I tried to ask about rest room availability today in a phone call to the hotel, and was met by a combative, defensive employee, who never acknowledged my suggestion to have the front desk direct guests, who were not staying at the hotel, to visit the coffee shop for a restroom access key. This seemed like a fruitless and frustrating call, with no resolution. I am a high level Hilton Honors member, and am surprised by the lack of courtesy, and help from the woman who spoke to me today....

Thank you voyager123NewOrleans for taking time to give our team your feedback. We greatly study each comment to learn how we can improve on service. We are in times when our focus really is on cleanliness of our facilities and the upmost safety for our guests. I am surprised to hear that the outlet staff did not provide you with a key upon request. I read in your comments that on your first phone call to the hotel someone accurately described our policy in place that either your room key or any attendant in all of our outlets including Domenica would assist all patrons with access. We are heartbroken that this did not happen and as a team offer our sincerest apologies. We will circle back with the entire staff to ensure each is versed in how to convey our current policy to all guests. Thank you for your loyalty to Hilton we greatly appreciate it. Customers like you allow us to be a leader in our industry. The entire team at the Roosevelt New Orleans.
