We really enjoyed our stay. The check-in staff was wonderful and we were able to leave our bags there prior to check-in due to an early flight time. Rooms were clean with basic amenities. Full tub in the bathroom was a plus. Wish they had mini-fridge/microwave and USB charging ports, but at least there was a coffee maker.
This place was not to bad very close to the bourbon street and many other place walking distance. Has a great bar service, and great housekeeping service overall my friends and I had a great time. Unfortunately, it was raining So I was not able to try out the pool but the pool looks sweet. The hotel gives great vintage vibe.
Great location. One block off Bourbon. Price was reasonable. Very clean and all the staff were friendly. Overall stay was a 10+ Location was also safe and walkable to everything! Best trip ever. We will be back and stay at Dauphine
Excellent beds, didn’t get a chance to really look around all that much. But everything was clean and taken care of. Shower was marginal, but not unexpected for building of that age. Overall recommend, beautiful hotel and very quaint and historical.
The Dauphine Orleans is consistently a good place to stay when we visit New Orleans. A reasonably priced and solid hotel in the French Quarter. We've tried other hotels and always end up coming back. The people who work here are great.
Overall a nice hotel for the cost. The rooms could use some updating but it was spacious and relatively tidy. The one thing is that they open gates (I think it was a gate?) at around 3 in the morning and it is LOUD. It did wake us up every night but other than that the stay was really nice. The pool isn't heated so we didn't really utilize it as it was a little chilly during our stay but the staff was friendly and informative and it was close by to pretty much everything allowing for us to walk everywhere
Great value for excellent location right in the heart of the French Quarter. Very quiet at night though. Comfy beds, nice staff - not 5 star but we felt very comfortable and safe. Rooms are spacious and clean.
Not the gem it once was. The room was in rough shape: The bathroom needs to be updated, and the furniture was stained. The desk was just about to fall apart and there was no chair to go with it. The TV only tuned to the home shopping network for our first two nights. The people in the room next door had loud fights two nights in a row that didn't end till at least 3 a.m. The charm of the property is not worth this much trouble.
I was appalled when I walked into the lobby and horrified when we entered the large but windowless room. Everything was clean and the staff (mostly) friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely. Within easy walking distance of everything.
Perfect location! Great staff. Stayed in the Hermann House side. Wasn't aware of no elevator. Don't book that side if you have trouble with stairs. Otherwise fine. Was quiet, but events till 11p could be loud in back courtyard in event place.
