A bit of a walk down to the hot springs but you can drive a good portion of the way if you don't feel like walking. Very natural setting. The restaurant was nothing fancy although we were with a group tour and our food was buffet. The rooms were clean but our hot water had issues. They fixed it but...

The hotel is nice , has hot springs , air conditioning in the rooms, vegetation and gardens. It is an atmosphere of relaxation. It has other services but I have not used , but every time I go to San Carlos I stay in this hotel .

This place is not fancy but if you are looking for natural hot springs, this is your place!!! The nature is all over. They did a good job to keep the spings as natural as possible. We stayed one night. The room are fair, clean bed and bathroom. It has air conditioned and flat tv. Very quiet at night. The...

We did not stay at the resort, only visited the hot springs on a quad adventure. The hot springs were amazing and the farm it sits on is just lovely. You would never guess what beautiful springs sit along the ravine of the river. Loved our visit. The temperature was great and varies depending on what you wanted. We were...

We recently visited Termales del Bosque for our second time. It is a very quiet, unassuming resort with accommodating staff and off of the beaten track. During our visits most of the clientele have been mainly Ticos with very few foreigners. We absolutely love the uniqueness of the hot springs tucked away in the forest along a river. Friendly staff...

We spend one day, but definitely we will get back soon. The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, waitress really take care about what you want. Take you time to ask for a massage, you will be in the middle of the jungle listen to the jungle sounds and really will be relaxed once the session has been finished,...

Termales del Bosque is an authentic family-run lodge that offers spectacular and beautiful natural hot springs in a rainforest environment. It is much nicer and much quiet than the hot springs in La Fortuna, and the hotel is also much cheaper. Tamales del Bosque still is a farm in many ways, with horses and cattle. It is very peaceful and...

The hotel was a recommendation by the owner of the Catarata del Toro (also recommenable). The rooms are OK, but the hot springs are very beautiful and relaxing. We booked a package including dinner and breakfast, both meals were good. The next morning we booked horseback riding, a nice 1 hour trip through the backland. The girls on the reception...

Let me start with all the positive aspects of this hotel: the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was of good quality (better than some of the meals with had at more upscale accommodations in Costa Rica), and the rooms are air-conditioned and clean. We had a problem with our air conditioner and a staff member immediately came...

Despite being just off a busy highway, Termales del Bosque was a very quiet respite. The rooms are basic but more than adequate and very clean. The grounds are lovely and we constantly saw gardeners working very hard to keep them that way. The restaurant was very pleasant with the friendliest staff and good food at breakfast (included with room)...
