Booked whirlpool room a month in advance. Called 2 days prior to arrival to verify and to let them know we would not arive until 5:30 to 6:00. Was told everything was good. Upon arrival our room was given to another guest. The front desk did give us another room, but kept trying to blame who booked the room. Same...

This historic inn is beautiful and in a lovely location. The staff was very friendly. It was peaceful, partly because in our room the tv didn't work, the internet signal was weak and often unavailable, and even the hairdryer did not work. In short, pretty much nothing worked. I didn't try the iron but figured it probably wouldn't work anyway....

Only just a little out of the way, the Springhouse Inn is a very quaint hotel in a beautiful wooded setting. I stay there anytime I'm in the area. It is quiet, reasonably priced, especially in the off season, and yet close to all the activities in NW Indiana! Stay there--you'll thank me!

Over the years, we've stayed here three - five times. This time it was just not worth the savings. The sauna wasn't working, the treadmill stopped cold in the middle of my brother-in-law's run (fortunately, he wasn't hurt). Only one side of the toaster works - but it's slow, VERY slow. And the place just isn't all that clean; in...

We have stayed at Springhouse Inn in the past and found it clean and pleasant even though it was showing it's age. We understand there is a new owner or management in the past year and our stay this time was anything but pleasant. We checked in a little after 2:00 pm and when we received the bill we were...

Enjoyed the look and feel of the woodsy cottage setting. Until we got to our room. Some of the things we saw: dirty screens - dirty lamp shades - bad and moldy grout in the spa tub - bad caulk job in the bathroom, just poured it in where the counter was broke - spotty wifi throughout hotel - thin...

I was a little worried when I read all the reviews on here but was pleasantly surprised. We got in late Saturday night and stayed through Monday. Spring House Inn is a very nice place to stay. The staff were also wonderful. We missed breakfast on Monday because we didn't realize there was a time change from the weekend. It...

We arrived on the later side and were greeted by a very nostalgic and somewhat mysterious atmosphere in the asphalt parking lot. A very nice experience. Yes, perhaps some "updating" is needed but that is what made this place different. Not a detraction for us. Staff: 10 - great people. Very friendly. Atmosphere: 10 Room: 8 Everything worked in our...

Older hotel that dates back into the 20"s and the call that they call B&B. The outside is dated and a little run down. The inside is a little better but had seen better days. The rooms are roomy, the beds are OK and bathrooms need updating. Room prices and quality are consistent with the area. Breakfasts are included but...
