Very clean comfortable property, Smaller rooms, well laid out.Very comfortable bed with ntop flight linens and towels. On site bar and coffee shop- Good value Great location- close to the Lake and Memorial Union as well as State Street.
We bought the bed & breakfast package. There were limited food options in the first morning AND NO SERVICE ON THE SECOND MORNING. The person at the desk in the lobby got us coffee & juice, but that was it!.
This hotel is centrally located from all the fun downtown happenings. Very unique decorating, and the rooftop bar is a great place to try a fun drink and hang out. Parking can be a challenge so I definitely recommending using their valet service.
Great! Rooms were spacious and the location was perfect. Tristan, one of the valet employees, was great and made our experience so easy. The cafe area was cute - filled with UW students and the overall vibe was very Wisconsin - Esque. Tons of restaurants in the area as well.
Nice rooms, well decorated, great location and friendly service. Parking is valet only. The roof top bar is nice addition and the coffee/food in the lobby is good for a quick snack. No complaints, I always try to stay here first when I visit Madison!
Amazing decor and atmosphere. The location is amazing on the heart of the UW campus. Love the fact that the students are allowed to come in and study in the lounge/lobby of the hotel. Would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Madison.
I have stayed at Graduate Hotels in the past in different states, unfortunately, this location truly disappointed me. My family and I were in rooms 614 and 615 which we quickly learned was directly under the seventh floor bar. The noise was loud and constant, that lasted well pass midnight. The hotel was fully booked, so it wasn’t worth asking for another room. We couldn’t sleep the two nights that we were there. I feel like I need a refund on that issue alone! But there’s more…the rooms were barley cleaned. It was obvious a mere wipe down was done. I don’t consider myself a hotel snob or someone who complains, however this stay was one that was extremely unpleasant. I live in Washington, DC where there are five star hotels for the same rate ($600 total for two nights, per room), so I expected better accommodations. Don’t look for stellar clean rooms. The staff were awesome and the location was a huge selling point! I will be traveling to Madison often this year, however I plan on finding another hotel that lives up to its brand reputation.…
Love the decor of the room and the front desk and valet staff were the best. The valets in particular were extremely helpful in grabbing a couple forgotten items from our car and storing our luggage while we went on our tour. Would recommend!
A modest hotel for professional travel. Room clean and comfortable (but room cleaning only on request). Convenient electric outlets and WiFi. Small bathroom and shower with low water pressure. Floor and walls do not contain the noisy 7th floor restaurant—intrusive on the 6th floor (Friday and Saturday nights).
We arrived late Thursday night (I had let hotel know in advance) and were so rudely greeted, actually not "greeted"; the person at desk said NOTHING to us other than "name?". Our room had a fowl odor that we could not seem to fix even with window open (which was freezing). The HVAC did not work well, the fan would not stay on to circulate air so room stayed warm and stale the whole stay. While we love the decor, it needs to be freshened. Peeling wallpaper, bathroom very sparse with water damage showing. The "TV room" where my daughter slept had no window or lamp which made it not very comfy; if we hadn't used it for its sleeping sofa, we would never have hung out there due to its darkness even in the bright of day. ALL of the valet guys were SUPER friendly and welcoming each time we passed them. They could teach the desk staff a thing or two. the location is fantastic but was disappointed in this location's cleanliness and staff compared with other Graduate properties I've visited.…
