Nice motel located right off Interstate. Found Motel a little difficult to get to due to some construction, but satisfied with stay. Divided highway in front makes travel awkward to get around. Motel was just as expected with Econ Lodge chain. Rooms were normal chain room and clean and smelled good. Had some bad experiences in other motels. Breakfast was... More

General: a place ok to stay with limited budget. Pros: good connection to downtown (if you had a car) ; nice frontdesk. Cons: forgot-to-refill vending machine; some smell in room; quite old building and interior.

We stayed here on a fairly short notice and on the same weekend that the Badgers had a game and the Packers were playing in Green Bay so hotels were pretty much gobbled up unless you wanted to drive to Milwaukee. Needless to say we got lucky and found this place considering nothing was available for 100 miles any direction.... More

Very inexpensive choice of lodging in October! Clean, well-maintained, and quiet. Convenient to Highway and downtown. You may want to bring your own pillow, but it was a good place to stay. Breakfast (continental) was included.

Upon entering our building there was a woman screaming in a room. There were unsavory people walking around the building. There was someone smoking something I don't know what? We had to stay as we had been driving for over 16 hours and couldn't stay awake any longer. We deadbolted the door and didn't leave the room until light of... More

Not our original plan but the cheap hotels in Janesville were full so we drove to Madison..they had a room at a decent price. Directions from the clerk to the room were confusing ( we didn't know they had TWO rear entrances) room was clean enough..beds were good pillows were skimpy though. This whole side of Hwy 151 is hard... More

This hotel was okay. I probably wouldn't stay here again, only reason I did was because I booked late for a conference in the Madison area and there were limited hotel choices. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The location of the hotel is good, close to many restaurants, a shopping center across the street, and a short 10 min drive... More

Stayed here on business trip for 3 days, not by my choice, so had preconceived thoughts of a low budget hotel. I was surprised, It was located in a good area close to shopping and restaurants. The decor was very outdated but clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Not bad for the price!

You definitely get what you pay for here. Overall, the room was kept decently clean and the building was quiet. Luckily summer is coming to an end but if it's warm outside, plan on sitting in a hot hotel room until the AC unit kicks in enough to bring the temp down. The complimentary breakfast was hit or miss, depending... More

It's an Econolodge so I guess that about sums it up. The ice machines did not work and we were in the second bulding so we had to walk outside and walk over to the main building to ask for ice at the front desk. The vending machine was nearly empty. It only had 2 bags of chips in it.... More
