The Concourse is the perfect Madison hotel. It's location is near the Capitol and offers gorgeous views over the stunning Capitol day and night. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool and gym area are clean, have great natural lighting and plenty of equipment. The hotel offers a shuttle which not only takes you to and from the airport but takes you to Camp Randall on game days or anywhere you need to go.

I rarely write a negative review but feel it necessary. First, let me give the positives. The staff were all very nice and friendly. We had a club level room. The club level amenities were good. Again, the staff there were hard working and quite nice. The appetizers and breakfast items were tasty. Our room was on the 14th floor and did have a nice view of the lake. Our room was clean. The furniture is outdated and most pieces were chipped and one dresser drawer would not stay closed. The ottoman had multiple stains on the surface. Overall, we felt that the hotel felt dirty. It is clear that they have attempted to update parts of the hotel. We felt, for the money, the rooms should have been in better shape. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel nor would we stay there again.

I stayed at the hotel earlier this summer. I chose a standard room for that trip and I really enjoyed the room and the property in general. So, when we heard about the Luke Bryan Farm Tour last Thursday, my wife and I made plans to go. The Madison Concourse Hotel was my first choice for accommodations and I was happy that they had availability. We upgraded the trip a little by getting a whirlpool suite with club access. BEST MOVE EVER!!! I thought the hotel was wonderful before, but the snacks, drinks, and breakfast from this upgrade put the experience over the top. My wife and I will always take a suite with club access in the future.

My wife and I recently did an overnight here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, it was our first place visiting. What stood out to us was all the extra attention to detail that the Concourse hotel did. The front desk recognized it was our anniversary and surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The person who delivered it made sure we had everything we needed and took the time to tell us about what else he had in stock to offer, and how long he'd be available. When we went into the Governor's lounge, the staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we could need. The appetizers were good, and they had a nice selection of beers and cocktails. The view of the capital was captivating and enjoyable. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept in. My wife even looked at the pillow tags and ordered the same pillow online when we got home. We had date night at many places in Madison, but this one was quite memorable. We can't wait to go back again.

Check-in with four women and two adjoining rooms was seamless. We were told that if the adjoining door would not open, to call the front desk. Maintenance was there in a matter of MINUTES! Rooms were spacious and clean. Had drinks and appetizers in the bar in the lobby. Drinks were great, as was the food. The bartender gave us all sorts of great ideas of things to do during our very short stay (one night). We called the front desk for help installing a fire stick in the TV. Lovely young man was there in MINUTES! He was knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. Breakfast in dining room was delicious. Check-out was seamless -- even given that we were splitting two rooms on FOUR SEPARATE credit cards. Location was perfect -- two blocks away from state capitol. Stay here!
