This is the best hotel I have stayed in. I called ahead to asked if there was a microwave in the room and the front desk lady said no, but for $10 extra she would put one in. She was very nice. Check in went smooth and I didn't have to wait long at all. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The rooms are very well kept and the linens are soft and clean. I didn't have my room serviced the 3 nights we stayed so I just asked housekeeping for new garbage bags and she was very, very nice. We were very comfortable sleeping and showering because it was soooo clean. We were there for a basketball tournament and there were lots of teens in hall, (mine included) and the staff was very nice to them, just reminding them to not run and to keep their voices respectful. The room is well insulated and I din't hear any noise in the hall. Check out went quick and easy. I did have a problem with my bill as my friend booked it with hers and my card was missed being charged and it was all put on her bill, but I called the hotel and talked to accounting and they cleared it up imediatley. We go to Madison every year for the boys state basketball tournament and we will be staying at the Concourse from now on. EXCELLENT!!! Thank you to ALL the staff. …

This was our first time staying at The Madison Concourse Hotel. We were in town for one night to attend a concert at the Orpheum, which was only a 3-minute walk away. Upon check-in the lady at the front desk was very kind and attentive. We stayed in a Governor’s Club level room so we could enjoy free cocktail hour, free hors d’oeuvres, free desserts, free breakfast, and have access to the beautiful Governor's Club lounge and library upstairs. We mentioned to the front desk lady at check-in that we were bummed we would miss dessert hour because we would be at our concert. She said staff would be happy to put some desserts in our room for us if it was okay for them to access our room. We enthusiastically said yes. When we returned to our room after the concert, there was a plate of delicious little desserts. Now that’s service above and beyond! Everything about this hotel was so nice! The common areas were tastefully appointed and clean. Our 14th floor room was beautiful and spotless with a breathtaking view of the waterfront. The Governor's club was chic and had a stunning capitol view. Nice local beer selection for happy hour. Bartender was friendly. The pool area was nicely kept. Elevators were efficient and worked every time. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious, as was the breakfast (and the cocktails!). The library area was charming and cozy. The Keurig in the library was an added perk, as we enjoy a nighttime cup of coffee. Parking was easy and convenient. The fluffy robes were awesome! Staff was polite and helpful and all were masked at all times. Check out was simple. Overall this was a wonderful one-night stay at a beautiful hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I travel to Madison, and I will recommend this hotel to those staying in Madison.…

Best hotel experience. Under ground parking was great! Restaurant, bar, Starbucks in the hotel. Capitol building a block away. This place literally has everything. I didn’t have time to use the gym, but it looked very nice. Concierge was attentive as well as housekeeping and desk staff.

Great location in downtown Madison. My cousin and I were only here for one quick night to have dinner and some drinks but really enjoyed the hotel. Very very clean and the staff were helpful letting us know what good bars to go to. We went to "The Bar" in the hotel and the bartender made some great Lemon Drop Martini's for us. The menu looked great as did the food leaving the bar going out to the customers but we already had plans to go somewhere so we didn't try the food. Overall a great place to stay!

The Madison Concourse Hotel is a great place to stay in Madison. It is within walking distance of the capital building and many wonderful restaurants. The hotel offers a great experience and is the only place I stay when traveling to Madison. I also recommend staying in the rooms that offer access to the Governor's Club. It is a great place to eat breakfast or relax after a long day.

I always stay at the Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club when I am in Madison. The customer service is excellent. The parking is convenient. They also have valet parking if you are uncomfortable self parking in the parking ramp. The rooms are always clean and stocked. The front desk is always available and ready to answer questions, give directions, etc. "The Bar" has a nice lounge atmosphere with good food and drink. Many of times I sat by the fireplace or at a vacant table and worked on my laptop. It's a classy place to stay!

My husband and I love to stay at the Madison Concourse. The hotel is a beautifully decorated, comfortable, upbeat place to stay. When I travel alone, I especially appreciate the bell staff and shuttle drivers who get me safely to where I need to go. We enjoy the atmosphere and food in the lobby restaurant and bar. Occasionally, we treat ourselves to a stay in The Governors Club on the top three floors. The GC lounge has a wonderful ambiance and amazing food and drinks. Throughout the entire hotel, the staff have always been polite, professional and accommodating.

Great Experience! One of my clients turned me onto this hotel. What an experience! I recommend the Governors Club, one of the best experiences you will have in a hotel. I travel over 100 nights a year and this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, despite it being half the price many other hotels I have stayed in. The staff is absolutely second to none! They value their guests!!!!!!! Please do yourself a favor and try it!
