Quiet hotel, next to restaurant. A little hard to figure out how to enter, but the entrance is next to the office. Has tv, dorm sized refrigerator, microwave. The only issue I found is that the toliet paper is behind the door in the bathroom and the bathroom is so small you have to close it first. I was surprised... More

Often, "you get what you pay for," and the Sand Canyon was certainly on the "spartan side." It appeared to be under new management, and the appliances were brand new and top notch (microwave, mini-fridge, and flat-screen TV). But the infra-structure needed some TLC and repair. Our sink drained poorly, the toilet flushed as if it had rheumatism, the heater/AC... More

I paid $50 on a Thursday in late September. I did not expect much. But the hotel is nice and clean, rooms are large, shower water is as hot as you can stand, the king bed was reasonably comfortable, there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Door lock was a little wonky, but the chain provides enough security.... More

On the website it looked oké. Actually it has had it's best time. The pool they advertised with was closed ( for some time) and further it was very basic. Good things? Fairly clean, the bed was ok and so was the internet. New TV in the room. I don't want to discriminate but, we've stayed in a lot of... More

With just a small amount of maintenance and the painter actually learning to apply paint correctly this place could look so much better. The pool looked nice but we weren't there long enough to try it. Breakfast was a bit limited and sad looking so we didn't bother. The mattress was very soft. It is a budget motel so we... More

Go somewhere else. The rooms are dirty. The pool was drained and the towels should be in a rag bag.The place needs a good cleaning The ice bucket was so dirty. I would not use it. The sheets had grease stains.Pay a little more money and get a good night's sleep.I sleep in my clothes.

My advise, keep on driving, you have other Hotel choices in Cortez. We recently booked this Hotel through a Online search resource. Upon arrival we noticed right away, how dated and dirty place was. We asked to see the rooms before committing and registering for the night we asked to see the rooms. The first room was filthy and dirty... More

As a college student traveling across the country, I always look for the cheapest prices for hotels. I realize that I am not staying in 5 star hotels, but National 9 Inn exceeded my expectations. It was clean, safe (well lit), and I had a quaint little room. Additionally, the manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating! Plus its located in... More

I stayed here on a trip to Mesa verde national park. It is a clean place, not fancy or pretty but a place to rest your head. Nice flat screen tv. Very dated everything else. Nice front desk guy. Very helpful on recommendations of where to eat. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. It takes a long... More

The best thing I can say about this place is that... uhmm.. sorry.... nothing. We had reserved ahead through a third party booking service, thank goodness. When we drove up, we were appalled by what we saw. Trash all over the walks, beat up furniture in front of the rooms, construction materials filling the pool - not water. OK, so... More
