Hotel was nice and clean. Nighttime desk not too friendly, but at least she was helpful. Mattresses extremely soft (If you like that). I like a more firm mattress. The rooms were a little for me and my family.

very courteous, close to race track, good breakfast, a little too expensive and charge more on race days, which is like gouging. i have stayed there several times and probably will again in the future

We made advanced guaranteed reservations at this Hampton Inn, and even checked in online in advance of arriving. Hotel called us before we arrived to inform us that there was a problem. Because of a "miscommunication" between the General Manager and guests already in the room, the room was unavailable. We needed a room with two beds. They did not...

The room was clean and had no odor which was a pleasant surprise since it was a smoking room. Even better was the awesome customer service! Staff was efficient and very courteous. Made us feel right at home!

Hotel located on top of a hill close to a busy street. Vehicles with loud mufflers can be heard if you stay on the front side near east end. Noise was less after 10 pm. Had a problem with the room key. It took three keys to get one that unlocked the door. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly.

Overall great stay, no issues with the property or staff. Great location near the lake, mall and new restaurants. The property was well kept and very quiet while being filled to capacity. The freshly baked (hot) cookies was a big hit. Also, only three (3) miles or so from Oaklawn Park (horse racing track).

We checked in without viewing room. Room was dirty and smelly. We did not stay and ask for a refund. The rate was ridiculously high and was blamed on Horse Race season. Bad deal. We love Hampton, but this one does not do the franchise justice.

This is a safe place with easy access and a friendly staff. The room was clean with a refrigerator and coffee maker. The breakfast had a great variety of cold and hot items. It is close to shopping and great dining places.

The battery in our smoke detector was dead so it started beeping at 4:00am and continued to go off all morning. I called to have them come resolve the problem and no one ever came and I was asked what I did to create the noise. Ruined our one day to get away and relax by being awake all morning!

What a wonderful stay. Other than the night staff at checkin you could not ask for a better stay. Room was clean bed was comfortable, could not have asked for more will defiantly stay here during my next visit.
