My husband and I stayed two nights at The Gables, we were in the Sylvia room with a queen sized 4-poster bed. I chose this room because my husband is more of a shower guy than a tub guy. It was decorated with lots of family photos and antique touches. The star here, in my opinion, is breakfast, Judy sets... More

The property, decor, breakfast, hosts all hang together. There is a lot of history in the house itself, from the national registry to the many photos/memorabilia of family. Judy, the host, was informative about the town and attractions, and her husband Dave was hidden away most of the time but provided a hardy breakfast. The room was old fashioned, but... More

We stayed here 2 nights and got the room with the balcony. It was nice to have the balcony. The bed was comfortable. The claw foot tub was great. The soap they used was so wonderful I bought some to take home. The breakfast were ok, nothing homemade. Mini fridge in room. Nice period furniture. Too many things on the... More

We deliberately chose a B&B in Hot Springs to get away from the corporate hotels we'd been staying in on our road trip. Check in time has to be specified in advance (a challenge if travelling from a long distance so we opted for 4pm knowing that if we got to Hot Springs earlier we could find a bar for... More

My husband and I went here for an early anniversay stay. We have never stayed at a B&B before. The house is nice and has some historic documents and photos to look at. David greeted us and checked us in. He's a very nice man. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of staying here and it's proximity to Bath House... More

Of all the reviews I've written I am most conflicted about this one. On first blush I thought I would be giving the Gables a five. After a two night stay a three is the best I can offer. In fairness, the building is gorgeous, the rooms well appointed, and the location convenient to the National Park which is what... More

David and Judy were wonderful hosts. They have thought of many small details to make the stay very comfortable. David cooked very good breakfasts! The house itself is very interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was our first b&b experience, so not sure how to rate it. I'm just going to outline what we liked and didn't like. What we enjoyed; the bed was spectacular, very cozy and we liked having the fire place. the bathtub was a fun feature, although, not sure how I felt about the mirror above the bath... We very... By far my favorite thing about our two night stay in the Governor's room was the heart shaped whirlpool tub. Breakfast every morning was amazing. David was telling great stories over breakfast about the origin of the house and of some of the antiques in this house. They are super prompt and on time as well!
