When we checked in our credit card was charged for the full three days so really no turning back after that. We got to our room at the end of a dark hallway, just needed a lightbulb, we couldn't get the door open. When we did the room was very basic, with mud tracked all over, dried up so we... More

It's an historic 1920's hotel that has seen better days and - like the rest of the town - is gradually recovering after years of decline. (Visit the gangster museum to learn more.) Beautiful public areas. Quaint furnishings and furniture in my room (306). Housekeeping may sometimes have issues (see other reviews): the shower curtain in my room needed attention... More

We stayed in room 601 which is a king suite with fantastic, large, opening windows, lots of space! Park view! Would highly recommend this hotel. Staff members were very friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Clerk only had one key - said someone must have taken the other one, No porters to take bags to room. Said we could use cart (which was falling apart. Elevator shaft smelled of raw sewage. No TV, inner spring with a thin, lumpy mattress. Couch at foot of bed had ripped fabric, toilet bowel spattered with feces. Couch felt gritty so... More

The hotel has a great location, just off of Central Avenue and across the street from the Grand Promenade. It has its own free parking lot. The entrance and lobby are beautiful with their victorian era decor. The desk clerk was very nice. The room was large with a queen bed though it could use updating such as a flatscreen... More

I can't say enough good things about this diamond in the rough. Yes, the rooms need a bit of sprucing up but this is what a "boutique" hotel is. The character, ambiance and employees of the hotel make up for that. Located in the Bath House district on a quiet street across from Hot Springs National Park was just what... More

We loved the (Angels in) The Park Hotel. The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean, the lobby was very nice. Our room was small (no big deal) the room had a small window unit. The bathroom; sink, toilet and shower. Needs new mattresses. The view from our room was not good. There is a restaurant inside the hotel. No... More

The room was clean and adequate. Tube TV ,A phone is in the hallway who needs a room phone anyway. Water was hot ,tub was full size, closet was big but no hangers. Ice available at the front desk. Air was cool enough, but barely. We kind of knew what we were getting but took a chance and will stay again.... More

We enjoyed visiting, eating and being together. The most helpful and friendly staff in the area! The hotel is historically preserved. You may want to bring your own fluffy towels and spray bleach for the shower curtains but that's the only issues we had and for the price and service- you just can't beat the park!

The front desk employees were welcoming...but our room on the second floor was drab with mismatched tension rod thirft store curtains (one window's curtains matched the bedspread). Nothing like any of the pictures on the website. The internet did not work and the tiny old television had grainy reception. It was very hot in the hotel halls and the loud... More
