Hotel Hale offers a friendly, classy, memorable, and comfortable stay. The rooms we stayed in had comfortable beds, were nicely decorated, and offered delicious extras like mineral water in a carafe and complimentary cookies. The *original*, restored 1800's wood flooring creaked a bit, which added to our delight because it reminded us of the rich history of the place. The hot mineral water baths were fun, and the tub in the Buckstaff room is so big, my 2 year-old thought it was a pool! We all enjoyed our soaks in the naturally blue, naturally hot, mineral-rich water which came straight from the mountain's springs. When we had an issue with our TV, a hostess came quickly and helped us out, talking with us and making us feel like friends instead of merely guests. Delighting us even more, the creamy hot cocoa delivered to our room in the morning and artistically-presented breakfast downstairs were not only beautiful, but delicious. The only thing we would change is that we would have appreciated top of the door locking or securing mechanisms, because it is easy for an adventurous, inquisitive little child to get out of the rooms and then not be able to get back in. When we return to Hot Springs, we hope to stay here again!

Our stay at the Hale was great. There is no parking at the hotel, but a valet will meet you at the street, take your bags up for you, and park your vehicle in a locked car park. You really don't need your vehicle while you're here, because everything is within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are all welcoming and helpful. The two restaurants serve awesome food and breakfast and Sunday brunch are included with the room. The hotel water comes directly from the hot springs and there are deep soaking tubs in the rooms for your relaxing pleasure. The staff will gladly bring a fresh carafe of cool water for you whenever you ask. Make sure you ask about the little door in the Eden dining room!

Our ten year wedding anniversary plans were messed up due to Covid. I grew up visiting Hot Springs and love the vibe of the city. I have stayed in the Arlington, The Waters, Embassy Suites, and The Springs on previous visits. Upon arrival, valet met us near the Fordyce bathhouse. I highly recommend the valet! Staff took our luggage to the rooms. We had the best homemade cookies on our nightstands.

It was awesome people watching from our window. All employees and staff treated us well and adhered to covid guidelines! It is a small nine room hotel so you are taken care of. We made our breakfast selections and enjoyed delicious sausage and cheese quiche (vegetarian options available), granola, milk, fresh fruit, and the best muffins.

The little touches make this such a special place. The original mosaic tile in the bathing quarters, original wooden floor, brickwork, and architecture are beautiful. The owners have combined both vintage and modern elements to perfection. Great soaps, shampoos, and conditioners. The towels were amazing after bathing and the robes were refreshing.

The Hale suite has a large closet and sitting area. Ambient lighting on the chandelier can be controlled by a dimmer switch. You even have a view of the spring that attaches to the back wall of the bathhouse that’s accessible from outside. You absolutely cannot beat the location and it is the only bathhouse you can stay in. There are 23 restaurants or more in walking distance.

Don’t forget to ask about the little door in the restaurant (it was closed temporarily due to Covid). We talked to several local business owners who said they have the best Sunday brunch in town. It was also not available due to Covid. I will not stay anywhere else but here on my next trip. Be sure and purchase a antique style glass bottle to take home as a souvenir.

Our room was lovely and very comfortable, the original hardwood floors upstairs really helped set the tone for the converted bath house with modern amenities. We were there for Valentine's Day and they had rose petals on the bed, towels folded to look like intertwined swans, cookies, just all kinds of little touches that made us feel welcome. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff, every single person there makes you feel like you are the most important person in the hotel! Every request was met with a positive attitude and a smile. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in the Zest Diner area. It has great things to offer, the crepes were delicious and beautifully presented, we really had a hard time choosing from the selections on the menu.

Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we walked through the doors! The staff are so sweet and personable, always using our names and going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Chef Heather is a superstar and made the most delectable gourmet masterpieces for every one of our meals. Not only are her dishes delicious but also aesthetically pleasing with so much attention to detail! We loved our room which was exceptionally clean and decorated so nicely. The interior brick walls are so neat and we enjoyed the roomy spa tub that pumps fresh hot blue colored mineral water in. We will definitely be visiting here again!!

The entire hotel including our room had real charm, with the feel of the old bathhouse coming through. Old brick walls on the interior, beautiful woodwork, yet all the modern amenities. Our room had a tub big enough for two, and with the how water coming directly from the spring, we had a glorious soak every day we were there. The breakfast (included) was not like the chain hotels as we had several choices from a menu. The French toast was great, both in taste and presentation.

The staff was outstanding- very friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy having us as guests.

Then there is the location: right in the middle of the bathhouse row. Could not be any better. We walked everywhere. While they have valet parking, elected to park at the free garage a block away, which felt plenty safe and secure. The do have an area to pull up and unload, Which was not obvious to us as we drove past the first time, but a quick call clarified the drop off procedure.

We came in February, during the off-season, but we are already planning a longer trip back there in the fall. I cannot recommend the Hale highly enough. Just outstanding.

This hotel is a true gem. It is impeccably restored, features original hardwoods, red brick walls, mineral water pumping directly into your bathtub, mineral water in unlimited quantities to quench your thirst in your room , delicious small batch welcome cookies, bath products that are top quality, fluffy robes, plentiful towels, and certainly not least - pristinely clean rooms. You are spoiled with a morning beverage of choice delivered exactly at the time you requested and always eager to help, courteous and efficient hotel staff. Hotel Springs Mayor is there to greet you, Ask about your stay and share little known historical details that are rich to the building and the area. The hotel is cozy, includes a restaurant (Eden) that offers a pleasant ambiance, live floral wall, tasty food, and very reasonably priced drinks. You are located in the best part of town and within walking distance literally to everything. We have recommended this hotel to all our friends and this will be the only hotel we will stay when in Hot Springs. Even the most recently built and opened hotels don’t come close in comparing.

A few additional recommendations for your weekend trip (if you must leave your room): 501 Prime (evening meal), horse races (book carousel - perfect views and you can come / go as please), mid-America science museum, Garvan Woodlands botanical garden, promenade, crater diamond park, bathhouse tour and experience.

We found this hotel as one of the Places to Stay on the National Park website and I’m really glad we did! One of the old bathhouses on bathhouse row in downtown renovated with modern facilities. Extremely comfortable bed, all the little things were perfect (ie. cookies and chilled spring water in the room). The only drawback is parking. There is free parking in a ramp a few blocks away but it’s probably worth the $20 valet parking to not deal with hauling luggage. There isn’t a spot to stop to drop off luggage. Other than that, wonderful place with your own private bath to experience the “healing waters”

My wife, her sister and her sister’s husband and I arrived in Hot Springs on Friday 8/19 and checked into the hotel @3pm after a scenic drive from Bentonville, Arkansas. We were shown to our rooms. The Hale and the Buckstaff. We were pleasantly surprised to find both tub and shower with the tubs actually piping in the hot springs water. Hot water 143 F. You must adjust the cold water to cool the hot water coming into the tub so that you don’t “cook” yourself. My wife enjoys a hot tub bath so this is something she enjoyed.

The room was spacious, with a king size bed. Refrigerator was nice as it is useful to keep things like RXs cool that need to be kept out of the warmer temperatures. The air conditioner kept the room sufficiently cool so we were not subjected to the heat and humidity of Hot Springs outside.

Breakfast was provided and we had reservations for dinner on Friday night which was excellent. Sufficient variety to choose from for dinner as well as wine and cocktails.

The Hale is located on bathhouse row not far from the trolley location to allow you to walk down the street a couple of blocks to take a tour of Hot Springs itself which was enlightening. There are a number of bars, restaurants, art galleries, The Gangster Museum and numbers of antique, gift and jewelry shops among others along Central Drive and other streets.

All in all we enjoyed our stay and may very well return to visit Hot Springs and stay at the Hale again. I would certainly recommend The Hale Hotel to anyone who wants a restful stay, central location and a spa experience.

We visited Hot Springs National Park and fortunately found a hotel that said their bathrooms had natural Hot Springs water. We felt that would be great since we wouldn't have to go to another bath house.

Not knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised when we found out this hotel was in the bath row and one of the original bath houses.

From the time we called the hotel on how to give our car for valet parking we were floored by the service offered by the hotel. Pat met us and made sure that we got amazing service. All staff members were very friendly and their attention to detail impressed us.

This is the only hotel we would stay in Hot Springs. I would go back to Hot Springs just to stay in this hotel.

Thanks everyone at Hale for making our stay enjoyable. We tell all our friends about Pat and his humbleness.
