Hotel staff was excellent at check in and check out. The entire hotel was clean and modern. Pool was nice, but the area to sit around pool was a little tight. This hotel is close to the lake, but not many views of the lake.

My daughter, myself and two pre-teen grandchildren chose the Home 2 Suites because they have a sitting area and separate bedroom. The couch is a pull-out sleeper. Check in was a little slow - the room was not yet ready even though it was after "check-in time". Dillon at the desk apologized for the delay, but it was really not a problem, we ran to a nearby grocery and purchased salads, and microwave meals to have in the room. It was worth the wait - we checked in to a spotless, spacious room - kudos to the housekeeping staff! We enjoyed a sparkling clean pool. Then another daughter and granddaughter came to our room, and we played board games on the table in the room (big enough for four to play)., while the two "tweens" watched TV in the bedroom, until it was time for those not staying with us to leave. Bed was comfortable, the temperature was fine, as was the shower. The next morning we enjoyed the breakfast ares, which was well attended. My only complaint about breakfast was not about the hotel - but the OTHER GUEST. I saw one lady buttering bread with her fingers and returning an unused slice to the container with her fingers. I saw someone sneeze without covering their face You can't fix ignorant. The food was fine though and the hotel did everything one could expect to keep it sanitary. I visited with staff member Keri for a few minutes. I liked that when there was nobody at the desk she was busy - she could see what needed to be done, and did it. The success of a business depends on the cooperation of the employees - Keri, Dillion, and several that observed bet didn't get names, have that sort of team spirit that IS ESSENTIAL for good customer service. This hotel has it - and I think that HOME 2 is my new go-to for hotels. I spoke with another guest that travels a lot for both business and pleasure. He told me he always looks for Home2 in the cities he visits. Highly recommend this place! Oh, by the way, they are pet friendly (the fee is pretty high, though) and I could not find any trace of pet hair or smell in my room. More kudos to the housekeepers!!

Super clean in the entire building, friendliest staff I have come across, great location, My family travels a lot and we stay a lot of places and this place knocked my socks off with the staff and how clean it was and how it felt like the staff wanted to make sure our stay was perfect

The property was very clean. Great location. I like how the room was staged. Everything we needed was in the room and more (regular size refrigerator, plates, bowls, silverware, dishwasher, sink, etc). Workout room and washer and dryer also available, if needed. It was literally a temporary home away from home. The staff was courteous and pleasant. The cooking staff could have been a little more friendlier, but, the food was great! We stayed four nights. The last two nights, there were guests who were located a floor above us were extremely noisy. I believe they may have had kids who were literally jumping off the furniture/bed to the floor. The noise was terrible!!! Made it very difficult to sleep the last two nights. I called the front desk to complain. Whoever was working the front desk said they would take care of it. When it didn't stop, my husband physically went to the front desk to complain and asked the worker to come upstairs so they could experience the noise; however, the worker said they were short staffed and he couldn't leave the desk and he would call the guests and give them a warning. The noise never stopped. I complained to the Manager the next day. She said she would call the guests. The next night, same noise. Needless to say, our sleep was interrupted. Other than that, it was a great stay. Just wish more could have been done about the noise. Will definitely stay again, but request to be on the top floor and be sensitive to those who stay below us.

Awful stay! My room was straightened, but it still felt dirty. I used a towel to clean the floor in the bathroom that had stains on it. The Klenex box had only a few tissues in it. I was looking for the cleaning crew to come clean my room on Saturday since I checked in on Friday, but nothing. So I called the front desk to ask if the cleaning crew could clean my room on Sunday since I had to request a room cleaning. The front desk attendant said that she would make a note of it. I left my room on Sunday, and when I got back, the room was not cleaned up. After entering the room and calling downstairs, the front desk guy said that the cleaning crew had just left, and they may have overlooked my room. My initial impression was the sheets looked like they possibly changed the top sheet and not the rest. A pillow case on the bed looked clean, but the others were IFFY. I got bites all over my wrist from something God only knows what. Oh, the front desk attendant said that they were lacking in the cleaning crew department. Well, that is not my fault. If we are giving you our hard earned money, then the service should be better. Just being on the water is not good enough. No need for imitation apologies, just get better! Thank you.
