I had low expectations based on the age of the building and my experience at other Quality Inns, but this one was immaculate, the staff courteous and accommodating, and the hot breakfast a notch above the norm. It’s adjacent to a decent restaurant and a gas station

Listen, sometimes you just need to stay in a crappy hotel. Maybe you’ve been driving for 100 hours and it’s 3am and all drivers in your car are exhausted and you’re in nowhere Ohio and you just need a place to shut your eyes for a few hours before getting the hell out of here. If that’s the situation, you really could do worse than the Quality Inn Chillicothe. If that’s not your situation, then I’d recommend driving on until you find a hotel that is nothing at all like the Quality Inn Chillicothe. It smells very bad and nothing about it screams “I am cleaned regularly and thoroughly.” It’s also like.....30% more costly than I’d expect Nowhere Ohio to be, but I guess they know they’ve got quite the captive audience because if you didn’t have to be here, there’s simply no way you would.

We got the king suite. It was very roomy. Separate bedroom, living area, dining area and full kitchen. There was a hallway between the living area and bedroom and bathroom. The decor was very dated, but the room was still comfortable. The bed was a little harder than some nicer hotels but I still thought it was comfortable. The windows had blinds instead of room darkening curtains, so the room never got totally dark. If you need a really dark room to sleep, this is not the room for you. There was a large walk in closet in the bedroom. It would be a good place for someone who needed to be there several days. There was a TV in the living area and the bedroom. I loved the shower head. Great water pressure. The hallway reeked of stale cigarette smoke, but the room did not. I noticed not all the hallways smelled. The breakfast was decent. Eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, cereal.

The sheets were dirty, the bath/shower was filthy, and the overall suite was just ridiculous. I do not recommend coming here at all it is terrible. The beds are hard as rocks and so is the pullout sofa. I will not stay here ever again

2.5 stars so the room was fine. The pool was very nice. The staff was very helpful, except for one incident at the front desk with a lady who did not know the buildings were either A, B, C, you get the picture. I told her we were in A-117. She told me that there were not any letters for the room number and the entrance we used had a great big "A" over the door. LOL But, NO Wi-FI!!!!!!!

It was a great trip. We traveled with a high maintenance bulldog. The staff were great to us and our dog. The buffet was great the staff kept it clean and it was hot when it was supposed to be hot and cold when it was supposed to be cold. When we found our room was by the elevators and next door to a loud family the manager did allow us to move to a quieter room but, did not give us any discount or compensation for our troubles. There are no good views out of any of the windows. The pool is small but well maintained and we enjoyed our use of it, with a couple of other families. The front desk, kitchen, and cleaning staff were warm charming and did more than expected. The manager was not so. The location was equidistant to both our desired sites providing an affordable comfortable location.

My family and I went to Columbus, Ohio for a musical in the afternoon. We were looking for a place to stay that would be south of Columbus on our route to return home. This hotel was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the Columbus area. Michelle, at the front desk was very professional and helpful. The first room we were assigned on the 2nd floor had a musty odor and the light was blinking as we walked in the room. We asked for another room, and decided that the first floor would be fine. (Room 115). There were guests who were having a very colorful, loud conversation as they were in the hallway walking by our room. This was around 11:30pm, and I am happy to report that it didn’t last more than a couple of minutes and there was no further incidents after that. There is a pub at the hotel on the first floor close to the guest rooms. I would recommend a room on the second floor at the other end of the hall away from the potential pub traffic. We had four in our family so two double beds met our needs as we stayed just one night. We checked in about 6:30pm. The room size was a little cramped for four people, but like I said, it was only for the night. The beds were comfortable. The furnishings were of gold and beige colors...just okay. The shower water temperature and pressure was fine. We had a difficult time getting the room temperature comfortable with the heating/cooling unit in the room. Several of us used the Fitness Center. There were ellipticals and treadmills. Make sure to have water handy as it it is really warm once you start working out. There are no fans in the room. There is a water cooler in the center.

Sheets were dirty. Bathroom was filthy. Room had not been cleaned from previous user. Registered complaint to front desk and checked out early after arriving at 3:00 am from late night travel. :-( Did not even eat at breakfast room. Place was not attractive or sanitary. What little sleep had was fully dressed because of the nature of the linens. Would not stay here again

We have been coming to Chillicothe for the past 6 years for the annual shutdown at the papermill in town. I think we have stayed at almost all of the hotels here. But this year would be different bc we now have our furchild Stella Rain with us. Quality inn is the only pet friendly hotel in Chillicothe. Upon arrival we had an excellent check in with the front desk clerk. No waiting and she was very sweet and friendly. We got into our room and it was clean but there was a musty order coming from the wooden closet but no worries I ask a staff member about it and she promptly brought some air freshener that definitely helped. We were here for 9 days and not one time did I run into an unfriendly staff member. I mean from the manager to housekeeping (even if they had nothing to do with my room) they were all above and beyond nice. Its great to see a lot of smiling faces, BC it really just made our stay that much better. They all evidently love pets bc there was a lot of love and sweet comments given to my dog which she loved all the attention. The manager even called me a few days after we had checked out to let me know we will always have a room at the quality inn when we are in town for the shutdown. ( it is not easy to find a room in Chillicothe for this week if you wait till the last minute) I will definitely being staying here in the future.

Wife and I stayed one night while traveling and were very disappointed with the room. It was small, outdated and grungy. It was one of those rooms where you didn't want to take off your shoes. The door did not block sound from the hallway and it was noisy and we heard a dog barking. The AC did not cool the room and it was very hot sleeping at night, even though the outside temp was in the low 50's. The bathroom door was so warped it wouldn't close and after we had showered we were going to watch TV and the remote was missing. We called the front desk and they brought one but the whole experience was troubling. The ice machine was also broken and there is no elevator in the hotel. We have stayed in much nicer hotels at half the price so I think this hotel is a bad value.
