The Haven and Bai Xep is paradise. To access the beach and guesthouse, you tow your bags along behind you through small lanes lined with napping Vietnamese and live seafood waiting to be sold. The little beach and harbor is a view to behold, so peaceful and quiet. The Haven is spotlessly clean and the staff are wonderful. The open air restaurant is perfect for relaxing anytime of the day with a huge tree providing plenty of shade. Cocktails and wood fired pizza are great. Then about 4pm, the beach comes alive with fresh seafood being sold live from buckets and barbecued before your eyes. So fresh, so delicious and so cheap. I have spent three nights here and have fallen in love with it. And if you do come, make sure you get a massage in the village, about 5 mins walk from the hotel. She is amazing and 300 000 for 60 mins full body massage. …
I stayed at this place with some friends for 3 nights. We were so impressed with everything about this fantastic hotel and resort. The food is excellent and the staff so so helpful and nice. Julie is an amazing host, she gave us many many extras which weren't included in the price. So happy to stay here and recommend to everyone forever! See you again soon Julie and the team! Also great playlist coordinated by the barman Dan, thanks so much ❤️
My first visit to Haven was 5 years ago and I couldn’t wait to return to this beautiful amazing place. Haven a is small family owned business, perfectly located right on the beach. We had the room with balcony, with stunning view and the sound of the waves singing to your ears day & night. Expect Vietnamese tourists to sing karaoke on the beach ‘til 10-11pm, that’s just part of the local folklore. Rooms are clean, staff is nice, dogs are cute! Big thanks to Dan who served us beautifully and is able to fill the cultural gap with local staff perfectly. I can’t wait to be back again and would love the local community to be more environmentally conscious. This is a growing concern for Vietnam tourism and I hope the country will be able to overcome this challenge. Many thanks 🙏 Clément…
A very friendly welcome after a long journey. A lovely spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Good WiFi. Quiet place, on the beach front. They are building an extension next door which does mean some early morning noise (0730am). The included breakfast served in the next door Big Tree Bistro was very good. Loved the banana pancakes!!!
I stayed in Haven Vietnam 5 years ago, and this time I returned to this place to relax after my half-marathon run in the city. I did have a great recovery time there. I stayed in Room #4. The room is simple but cozy and comfortable. I love the view from the room - blue ocean, coconut tree, and pink bougainvillea. The place has a wood-fired pizza oven which serves delicious pizza. And definitely, this spot is a special place to see both beautiful sunrise and sunset.
