We reached the hotel near midnight, I had previously informed the hotel about the late night check in. They kindly arranged a 2 double bed room for us as the 3 pax rooms were fully booked, although previously I only requested for an extra bed. The next day we were moved to a double bed room with extra bed (as...

Friendly, nice staff, big and clean family room with jacuzzi tub (& free wifi) and rooftop spa combined to make our overnight stay a positive one. Location next to one of the free hot spring parks was a bonus. BTW, though breakfast was local style there were still plenty of options for Western tastes. Traveling in Taiwan is really a kind of a skill. Knowing how to do it will improve your chances at having a good time. Here's what you should know before you go: JiaoXi is not a pretty city. It's not a quaint hotsprings resort that you might expect in a remote asian village. It's a honky tonk collection of old...

Very friendly staff who showed us all 3 types of rooms for us to choose from ! They have European snd Japanese set up room types! And each of them comed with hot spring bath tub (Japanese style)! Breakfast is just ok ! Air conditioner is not cold enough in hot summer!

Thank you for your praise and encouragement, part of the air conditioning is central air-conditioning, cooling degree and can not be compared with the quiet of home air conditioning

This is a short drive off the exit from the main freeway, and surprisingly only 40 minutes from New Taipei City if you take the highway with all the tunnels. I'd rate this hotel as a solid value close to the center of town. They have a private parking lot if you decide to drive. There is a community pool...

“If you are not happy with the room you've been given, just let them know and see if they can offer you another. Most rooms have trade-offs and unless you're staying in a really nice hotel, it's a real crap shoot as to what room you get.”
