This hotel was very poor it is B&B very limited breakfast. It can be considered as simply B&B hotel not more than that . Nothing to write about this hotel. It is a big mistake I wouldn't do it again to stay in this hotel . I don't recommend for anyone.

Located in highlands, cool mountain range with a cold weather, lowest temperature in Sri Lanka towards the entire year. Superb hotel with good food and good staff. Very nice surrounding with misty clouds, nice garden with lot of foliage.

We had a lovely time, even though we were the only people at the bar. We were lucky enough to be entertained by a charming man, whose name I have regrettably forgotten who served us some of the best cocktails we have had in the country. It unintentionally had a twin peaks vibe which I really enjoyed.

My husband and I stayed here while passing through Nuwara Eliya on our honeymoon. We didn't book ahead so after already checking out 3 other hotels we pretty much booked this one as we were over driving around. After being told they only had one vacant room at a high price, we later found that they had more than 5... More

We stayed only one night in our highlands tour. We where looking to different hotels in the area and this was the cleanest. The rooms are big and clean the old English style decorations is everywhere but make it cosy. The rooms upstairs are much better.

Stayed 4 nights and anyway you don't need much there due awesome climate in Nuwara Eliya. Rooms were average but clean. food is also good. the great thing about the hotel is the accessibility. it is just in front of NE racecourse and walking distance from the city and the Gregory lake. staff was attentive. value for money.

Awful service, nasty small minded and prejudiced staff. Horrid drab smelly rooms. Characterless dated decor, poor facilities, broken fixtures. Bad reheated food, the waiter argued with me that the Shiraz was a white wine! Hilariously awful, we checked out within 45 and walked up the road to the much nicer and far more welcoming Ricmond Inn. You would be an... More

I stayed here whilst cycling across Sri Lanka and found it to be clean and comfortable. As you are so high in the hills the need for AC is less which is good as there wasn't any! The food was poor and the evening / morning buffets were cold. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I was part of the trip by the 1982 batch of TKM College Of Engineering, Kollam, India to Sri Lanka in January 2015. As part of our tour, some of us (11 families) were accommodated in Alpine Hotel on 23rd January night. We were originally booked at Collinwood Hotel, a nearby Hotel which is an associate of Alpine Hotel for... More

Avoid it at any expense unless you enjoy disgusting toilets and stuffy smelly rooms. Hysterically overpriced for what it offers. Unfortunately there was no option to escape as we were a group. The staff don't really see a problem in unclean spaces and feel that the guests are strange
