This was our second visit to Lourdes Hotel Nuwara Eliya and it is my favourite place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and equipped with modern amenities. You can relax and enjoy the view near the large windows in the common relaxing areas. Food is tasty. I thank Mr. Upali the Manager for all his kind support. We enjoyed our stay at Lourdes alot. Hope to go there for third time as well and recommend this hotel for all travellers...

A nice small hotel located near to the city centre. Has an amazing view of tea plantations and farm lands. Property was well maintained and cleaned. Rooms have enough space to manage. There was small balcony attached to the room to have a cup of tea and enjoy the view. We visited during an extreme windy and misty climate. So, couldn't enjoy the view properly. Food was nice and staff was friendly. Overall a nice place. Superb service. Highly recommended.

Nested between tea gardens Lourdes Hotel is an excellent place to stay for chilling and relaxing. The hotel is away from the hussel n bustles of the town and the surrounding area is so peaceful. The rooms are little small but very clean and have all required amenities. The service is excellent with the manager Mr Wisidagama being present everywhere, giving a personal touch to all services. The food was also very good. Would surely recommend the place

Location is good, food is good, staff are excellent. Rooms are a little small, but since it is clean, we were really happy with the hotel. Food was hot and was tasting good. A very good place for morning walks

We initially booked our stay for November 2019. Since we fell sick and couldn’t make it we called the hotel to see if we can re arrange our stay as we had already made the payment in advance. Raj at Lourdes was kind and very helpful in helping us out on this. Also what is most commendable is that we booked standard rooms and they were kind enough to upgrade them to superior as they were vacant on the date we arrived. Also we reached the property at arount 10:30am and they willingly arranged an early check in without hesitation. The rooms were clean and neatly arranged.Loved every bit of the stay!!!

The property is situated around the tea gardens that makes it a more lovely place to stay. The rooms are compact but nice and have private balcony. They are provided with every amenity you can expect. Since the hotel is on a hill, you can stroll in the tea gardens during evenings or early mornings. The food is limited but good and the waiters do their best to please you.The manager and front desk guy also makes sure that you have a good time here. Gregory lake is at 5-7 minutes drive and the market is 10 minutes. We had a lovely stay here. Recommended !!

The place is beautiful and the view is amazing. They welcomed us warmly with a nice cup of coriander and a piece of jaggery. We booked Deluxe rooms and they are neat & comfortable. We had all the necessary amenities in our rooms. Staff is friendly and cheerful. We didn't have a chance to taste the food as we had a different plan of our trip. We Absolutely loved the location and recommend it for all. Planning to go there again.

I stayed here with a group of 50 persons. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful in every way. The food was specially made as per Indian taste They served us well in every way. 5 stars for the hospitality Special thanks to the manager Mr Upaali!

The hotel property is located at a stunning location, slightly far from the city (20 min drive) but has awesome tea estate surrounding. The front office staff, the ops manager and the general manager were extremely courteous and helpful and we enjoyed our stay from 23 jan to 26 jan 2020. The chef at the hotel especially ensured to get oat meal made for my infant kid. The rooms are slightly dated and needs refurbuishing, the service team needs training. I requested for clean towels thrice on the 25th evening, I didn't get them!!! The wifi connection is not great and super slow, most times, it didn't work in the room that I stayed in 704. Overall experience was good but could have been better.
