I select this place when I go to nuwara eliya for few reasons. 1. Friendly and known staff 2. Reasonable pricing 3. Cleanliness However, now the prices of the rooms and specially the price of meals have increased without providing any added benefits. Sometimes the hot water does not work and items you have not ordered appear on the bill.... More

Stayed one night with our driver. Was drizzly and cold. Huge room, spotless bathroom. Thin doonas but given another blanket. Very helpful staff. Had dinner, delicious fresh vegie soup and devilled chicken and rice, all cooked freshly to order. 5 min tuktuk ride, Rs150.

Awful hotel if you travel in group. There is no hot water, staff always forgets what food you had ordered. Food is cooked veery veery slowly. And sometimes it is burned. So, my advice-try to avoid ordering food here

I select this place every time i go to nuwara eliya. The staff is so helpful and pleasant. The rooms are good with hot water facilities. The sri lankan breakfast is superb. Make sure you reserve the first ( 3 pax ) room on the left to the reception. However, if you are looking for luxury this is not the... More

The weather was terrible, being cold and wet. The first room we were given was damp and rather dirty. We were offered two others, one of which had not been cleaned since the previous guests. The room we ended up in was better and was at least dry and reasonably clean. We had curry and rice which was good. The... More

When we called this hotel, we were told a family room would cost 2500 rupees. When we got there, we were shown the room and then told it would be 4500 rupees. When we questioned this increase, we were told the initial lower price was to encourage us to come, and once we had seen "how good" the room was,... More

My husband and I loved it here. The staff really made us so comfortable. The bed and thick doona were "The Best". The food also amazing. I was even given an informal cooking class. Loved it. Shiyam the Manager let me use his computer. This was our little home away from home. We even had a night around the open... More

We stayed at the Haddon Hill Hotel for one night - the room itself was rather small but clean and comfortable despite the size, the bed was good and bathroom clean. Breakfast was a bit of a let down - I ordered boiled eggs, one came out stone cold and the other warm but undercooked! They did have decent sausages... More
