Beautiful colonial building set in a stunning surrounding of the tea plantations. Food very good too, provided by exceptional service from the waiter (who I can’t remember the name of!) A little bit expensive however and some of the outside decor/activities were run down.

The stay at Langdale was absolutely fantastic. Location is picturesque with amazing views of the surrounding tea plantations. Food was great and the curated menus were lovely. What was most impressive was the staff, who were extremely detail oriented, very polished and attentive. Lastly, the room (on the 1st floor) was comfortable with a window to the hills. Easily the best location to stay in and around Nuwara Eliya.

So we stayed at Langdale from 13th March to 15th and I should note that my short review does little justice to the friendly, helpful staff at hotel. The hotel picked us up from another resort in Nuwara Eliya and when we arrived at the resort we were treated with a nice refreshing cucumber drink and some hot towels to rejuvenate ourselves. Not to mention the pleasant smile and warm welcome of the staff made us feel like home. Special thanks to the GM Mohideen, Pradeep, Dinesh, Kevin and last but not least Chef Sampath who accommodated my fathers crazy dietary requirements (true story lol) and all the staff went out of the way to make our stay special. If you are reading my review I urge you to visit Langdale Boutique Hotel Nuwara Eliya if you visit Sri Lanka.

My husband and I very recently stayed in the premium suite at the Langdale Boutique and had a marvellous experience. From cleanliness, to amazing food, to excellent customer service - there wasn’t a moment that disappointed. The site itself is beautiful, along with the picturesque views and the serene atmosphere. We could not recommend more highly.

Amazons gem close to Nuwara Eliya. Super clean and spacious rooms surrounded by beautiful tea fields that can very easily be accessed for a short hike (e.g. to Langdale viewpoint). Fantastic Sri Lankan food for all three meals of the day. But what makes this place really special is the incredible hospitality of the staff which is even substantially beyond the already very high Sri Lankan standards. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful for all questions. Incredible find (should be five stars…).

Beautiful picture book location. Lawn tennis and infinity pool in amazing valley landscape surround by tea plantations. Private house feel very pretty and amazing service by the hotel team. Pool area needs a little refurbishment (the boards) but overall very very nice

We received a very warm greeting from the reception team and taken to a fantastic room with wonderful views from our balcony. The food was first class served by very professional waiters. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough and wish them great success. Hopefully one day we will return.

An ideal example of Excellent Hospitality – Langdale Boutique Hotel Langdale was without a doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in Sri Lanka. The staff there were extremely friendly and we had an amazing time during my two-day stay with my family and friends there. The ambience was truly delightful and the peaceful environment surrounding the hotel just makes you feel like you never want to leave this place. We had a great time indeed. Superb service! During our whole stay we were offered a “personalized service” from the staff and talking about the food, which was on another level – top notch to be precise. A special thank you goes to the General Manager – Mr. Fouzi Mohideen and Chef Sampath including the amazing staff there who provided us a great service – an ideal example of excellent hospitality right here in Sri Lanka! …
