We last visited in May 2019 and have to say white we have been to some wonderful places we have now found paradise on a different scale. From the moment we arrived the service, food , staff were the very best. We tried all the restaurants over 12 nights and were never disappointed, even though we did have our favourite few.. We should have come back in may 22 to celebrate a 60th, 40th birthdays along with 15th wedding anniversary, however due to personal circumstances we had to put it back 12 months therefore really looking forward to another 12 nights stay starting 13/05/23. We stayed in room 108 last time which was absolutely beautiful with the surroundings, however we have requested to stay closer to the jetty this time, which we are hoping the wonderful organisers at kuramathi can accommodate. Once you have been to kuramathi you will want to go back, and even though all inclusive select is expensive it’s worth every penny. Really looking forward to seeing you all on 13th May 🙂🙂 Paul & shayna…
We recently returned from our second visit to Kuramathi in the last 5 months - we were not disappointed and are pleased to say that the impeccable standard & experience we had in November was repeated - top notch customer service, rooms, food, drinks and of course the all important kids dream of Bageecha Kids Club!! While we went as a family with 2 young kids, it is important to note we would return here in a heart beat without the kids!! Snorkling: We did considerably more snorkling during this visit - we swam on the reef with dolphins, turtles, reef sharks and all sorts of other fish you can imagine. We had a room on the reef side so we could simply paddle out from the beach in front of our room. Bring a Go-Pro or some sort of underwater camera to document the experience!! Food: We had opted for the full-board package and were therefore allocated the Farivalhu buffet restaurant. You will not be disappointed with the variety, quality and freshness of the food served at every meal. We stayed for nine (9) nights and were never disappointed nor did we feel that the food was repetitive. Top quality food which is on par or exceeds standard of 5 star buffet restaurant in Dubai. The a la carte restaurants are exceptional but we didn't get to try them on this occasion. Room: Once again we were in a 2-bed beach house which is super spacious and could accommodate 6 adults. It is a two story structure with massive living space on each floor, massive bathroom and situated directly on the beach with your own private beach chairs in front. For families, there will be very few hotels that could offer such a unique living arrangement and is one of the reason we came back! The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff are extremely attentive to ensure the room is spotless upon your return. Island experience: We explored the island some more this time - its about 1.2km in length which means you are able to do your morning jogs from one end to the other. The white sandbar at the end of the Island is mind blowing- and spectacular, beautiful spot to park yourself, watch the world go by and take some memorable photos. At the other end of the island they have one of 3 swimming pools (2 of which are infinity) - it is very close to the jetty where the beginner snorkling is done and the swimming pool amongst the palm trees in front of the white sand it just WOW! There are several restaurants/bars around it where you can order food or refreshments. In between these two points there are many bars, restaurants, coffee club, spa and swimming pools which offer a great ambiance. Evening entertainment: The island has a cracking band which plays at the various bars/restaurants. We decided to briefly watch the band at Laguna bar on this visit and were very impressed. These guys have incredible voices, play any cover on request and really get the crowd going with their enthusiasm. Again, a very nice added touch for those that want to listen to some live music in paradise! Bageecha Kids Club - For those with kids, this is a priceless gem of a feature of the resort. The staff at this club are just phenomenal and give you every peace of mind that the kids are happy & in good hands. The kids club has lunch and dinner available during the course of the day and will facilitate baby sitting for younger kids (from a couple of months) for a very reasonable hourly fee. The kids will be doing painting, crafting, dress-up costumes, beach walks, cooking/bbq experience, visit the ocean life educational center amongst the many other activities. The club also has a dedicated swimming pool with slides along with a splash park for the toddlers. Imagine this: family breakfast finished 10:30am, drop off kids at Bageecha at 11am, adult time of cocktails by pool followed by a peaceful lunch. This is followed by having to drag the kids out of the kids club at 2pm because they enjoy it so much and want to stay longer. This place is what makes the resort for families!! Overall a very pleasant experience and one we would like to repeat. This resort is like nonother that we have stayed at and one we would recommend to anyone!!…
This was our fourth visit back to the island of Kuramathi. We return each time to the most wonderful welcome, a few treats and everywhere you go, wonderful staff. Our room is always perfectly clean and tidy and we sometimes have a beautifully decorated bed, there are a few treats which are very tasty and the quality of sleep is perfect. We choose the most simplest of garden bungalows so that we can afford all inclusive plus with Kuoni which gives us the option to dine in a restaurant every day and enjoy a la carte table service and bottled wine menu. Plus, all the cocktails we can possible drink! The dive centre have wonderful staff in particular Ahmed who is a very gentle, caring, lovely guy who takes you to the most amazing locations to snorkel, see Mantas etc. His experience is wonderful and he makes your holiday complete by helping you find things in the ocean that you wouldn’t normally find! During my holiday it was my birthday and all,of the staff of the Island BBQ sung to me in English and Maldivian, they were wonderful and made me feel very special indeed!…

Got back from this holiday 2 weeks ago and if I had the money I'd turn around and go straight back. This is an absolutely fabulous resort which definitely deserves every on of it's stars, the holiday exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a water villa, which was beautifully appointed with everything you could need, and very private. Room servicing was excellent and the nightly turndown service was a lovely touch, as was the decoration on Valentine's day. We stayed on the All Inclusive Select package which allowed us to dine in any of the al a carte restaurants, (these have to be pre-booked) which all provide 5* dining, and gave us the option to eat in three different places at lunch. Our favourite was Island Barbeque, which we visted twice but the others we visited were equally as good, we didn't visit Kobe or Siam Garden. The Fung, Dhoni and Laguna bars are all very nice to stop by for pre and post dinner drinks and there is a rotating variety of musical entertainment. The atmosphere on the island is very relaxed and the staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the buggy drivers were especially helpful. I would say whilst it's easy to hop on a buggy I would recommend walking around and taking in the environment, including the botanical walk which we found very interesting. My only niggle, and I have to admit I didn't ask if there were other sizes, is that the bathrobes in the room were very small and of no use to us at all.…
We spend a week there under select all inclusive(SI) which is the best choice. From the moment we arrived by sea plain, until the moment we left it was the best.Super nice and clean place, great service by only friendly and helpfull people, good food with a wide rang of choices, excellent diving if you are into that(go to Madivuru).Really a paradice Island that meets all expectations. Our daughter(8) is a difficult eater, but even if they didn't have anything she liked at one of the, they found a way for her to get something she liked. We went to Malidives before, but this one we would return to, no doubts! 100 points!
I spent a week holiday with my family (3 adults) and I must say that the resort lived up to the expectations made from the website and the web in general. I would like to make a special mention to the customer care of Alok, one of the buggy drivers, and the competence and professionalism of the Eco Centre and Excursion team. We especially enjoyed the snorkeling excursions and the marine biology presentations. The food was always diverse and of high standards, and the beauty and cleanliness of the facilities and the environment was outstanding. Precisely for this reason I would like to point out a few improvements one could expect from the resort. There is a lack of bar service directly to the beach, still too much plastic in the rooms (toiletries for example often have a plastic bag in addition to the paper container), and finally it would be nice to have a buggy time table on the resort app. For everything else, I only recommend spending time in this beautiful place as soon as possible!…
3rd visit and just as good food is amazing, just wanted to mention Alsan and Saif from the Indian restaurant great service and advice, really made our evening enjoyable. The people who work at the resort make it ! Hopefully we will return next year.
Exactly as I dreamt it would be and more. The staff were excellent. Island was constantly being cleaned and tidied. We stayed in a beach villa which was perfect for what we wanted, positioned perfectly near the beach. We opted for the select all inclusive which we highly recommend. Food in all restaurants was of a high standard and presented beautifully. This trip was meant to be a once in a lifetime trip for our 25th wedding anniversary - we are excitedly planning our return holiday to the beautiful Kuramathi. Cannot recommend this island enough.
We stayed at deluxe water villa with pool on the reef side. Fantastic private hidaway relaxing place, with replenishing sunset view. The pool we used most of the time during the night. Do not miss the floating breakfast served on the fliating basket on the surface of the pool
