Been here a few times and will come back. We prefer staying in a Joglo next to reception and the village where it is a bit more noisy and lively. It is a bit of a walk (3 mins) between the upper section of the resort and the restaurant and the rooms and pool by the riverside. The way can get a bit slippery at times or dark at night, so better take this in account when booking. The riverside area is really beautiful too, though. With stunning view over a little valley with a nice rice paddie next to the river. Everything is clean, the staff is super friendly and accomodating. You need some sort of transport to get around. We can recommend the English speaking guide/driver called Bagus, who lives next to the hotel.
Very nice place, and quite, i really like the place, i will come back to this hotel, really nice staff and good response, the room is clean, the food is great, the biew is awesome, and they charge for a fair price. thanks
Uma Sari Rice Terrace villa is excellent budget villa located in Umabian, Tabanan. Good size room, clean bathroom and decent WiFi. Massage service available for about US $12 per hour. Caution: the pathway and little bridge to the restaurant currently under construction.
Beautiful property, located on a peaceful part of Ubud far from the crowded areas. There is a vast stretch of serene paddy fields nearby, and we enjoyed stunning sunsets from the property. The room was clean and maintained very tastefully. The staff were friendly and always warm.
Umasari rice terrace Villa is a beautiful little retreat. This is the perfect place for those wanting to relax, unwind and zen out for a few days. Surrounded by picturesque rice fields, whilst staying here we felt extremely chilled out. It’s the perfect setting for some meditation or yoga. Or just to zone out for a while and clear your mind. The walkways around the huts are lovely and the calming sounds of gentle running water in the background from the streams that surround the rice fields is so nice. Each hut has its own outdoor shelter hut which is the perfect place to chill out. We used it to shade us from the sun one day, then as shelter from rain the next. It was actually really lovely to sit under during a rain storm, listening to the thunder as it rolled around the distant hills. Magical. The staff here were all lovely and very helpful. We received a warm welcome and a nice tour around the area to see where everything was. The huts themselves were quite large and had everything we needed. Good air con, a large fridge, comfy bed with mosquito netting, TV, etc. The bathroom area was really nice too! The roof is partially open aired so you can have a lovely natural shower, yet retain your privacy. There are tropical plants in there and some lovely mood lighting too. The restaurant is a little walk away, through the rice fields. We would definitely advise taking a small torch if you go in the evening. The pathway is lit in most places. But there are some steep slopes and dark patches. It’s a lovely peaceful 5 minute walk though which we really enjoyed. Once at the restaurant you are treated to a beautiful view too! The menu looked really exciting with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. But we were a little bit disappointed to find out that many were unavailable which was a real shame. However this was probably due to it being the quiet season when we visited. The food that we had, although not our first choice, was very nice and reasonably priced. There are two swimming pools to choose from. One next to the huts and one down near the restaurant. Both are a good size and really nice. Although the water was just a bit too cold to tempt us in whilst we were there at the beginning of November. We would recommend Umasari to couples, single travellers, friends and families in search of a few days of peace, quiet and escape. Yoga and meditation fans will love it. Although there were no classes on offer, so you would need to just do your own thing. But the surroundings are so perfect for this! If you’re looking for somewhere with entertainment, music, a bar or area to socialise etc, this might not be for you. But to chill out, relax, read some books and get some peace and quiet this magical little place is perfect! Good value for money. Lovely accommodation, friendly staff. Peaceful scenic surroundings. We would definitely return again... Rob, Annalisa & Leo. …
