Fabulous staff, comfy bed, good food. Massages excellent. Definitely go to the Elephant Sanctuary and the Monkey Forest. A day in Ubud is a must, check out The Coconut Shop, best ice cream EVER! Owner drove us personally to our next destination, such a friendly, helpful lady.

Me and my husband booked this place for our Silver Wedding Anniversary and requested to have a small preparation but when we arrived, we were surprised on how much effort they’ve put in. We were also able to upgrade our room to villa with pool.

My partner and I really enjoyed our few days at Senetan. It was my partners 25th birthday during our time here and they were so accommodating towards this as they provided us with a cake, petals and a song. We then had a couples massage after! The food here was lovely and so tasty. Most of all, the staff were so friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face (especially the ones in the restaurant) We would definitely come here again (when we can) ! Loved it! Tia Xx

Senetan resort is set within a forest environment and indeed very relaxing with sounds of nature. The staffs of this personable resort are very hospitable who went out of their way to make our stay was as good as possible with a VIP treatment from the moment we arrived until our departure. We had special dietary requirements which was catered for and there are in-house massage/spa services available. Several daily shuttles are available to Ubud town which is definitely helpful and takes away the need to book taxis. The resort is kept clean and tidy and as per the photos advertised with exception of natural deterioration in some areas due to lockdown impact however these were being addressed post lockdown and personally didn’t bother us as the place is clean, calm and welcoming topped with wonderful staffs. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, Ms.Dewi who is very pleasant and friendly. It was lovely to see Ms.Dewi interaction with her staff as there were mutual respect and care visible. Kudos to her and her team for making us feel that Bali is a very special place where it’s people are the heart of this beautiful land. Thanks Senetan team for a lovely, memorable and rejuvenation experience.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and the staff were so accommodating. We stayed for four nights at the end of June and were well looked after. They offered us breakfast in the room every morning which was prompt and always delicious and couldn't do enough for us during our stay! Couldn't recommend enough!

We have a pleasant stay at senetan villa, staff were very nice, food are great. But some old stuff need to be replaced or repaired. Pool is cold since the weather in ubud is quite chilly. If you love nature, it is a perfect place to stay.

It's a property of just 11 Villas but all the minute details are taken care of like 1) They provide you the converter which you require as sockets are different 2) Bathroom,Bathtub, Private Pool is really clean hygienic. 3) They have regular shuttle services to Ubud Market so you don't need to Taxi Seperate. 4) Exchange services are available at the reception. 5) Unlimited Water Bottles are provided to guests 6) Very good Indonesian food 7) Special Vegeterian and Indian Options 8) Provides breakfast in the private pool.9) WiFi Services are really nice Must visit for Nature loves and who likes to be away from the busy life. Don't Miss 1) Massage ( Feels bliss) 2) Talking to the Owners Sutari and Anom 3) Interaction with ever smiling staff Laundry Cost 5k IDR per piece Avg Meals Cost per person 60k IDR Beer Cost 60K for the large small one 30k Massage Charges 200k per hour

[11:02, 07/03/2022] Cook It: Covid hospitality issues Checked into Senetan resort very welcoming and good first impressions Getting into the villa the signs are all over that covid has taken its toll on the maintenance upkeep of the property Walls leaking in both bedrooms Television not working -channels advertised not available & the reception was grainy & lousy The furnitures looks like its 10 years old tired & with no maintenance The Air-conditioning wasn't working at all When we asked for some assistance with the aircon & tv the answer was sorry not able to fix I work in the hotel business & believe we did get a good deal initially upon booking however when you don't deliver what you advertise it upsets & disappoints the guests & when simple things are not working it compounds the disappointment Bali has to get on top of delivering what it promises l know covid has been hard on everyone because covid has impacted spending however if you are not going to deliver what you promise your business will fail Ive been to another few villas recently & the problems are the same no maintenance tired looking products & no maintenance done for the last two years as everyone has tightened spending Well when the guests come back l do hope some owners take pride in delivering & meeting guests expectations I would rate the Senetan resort 1 star based on the upkeep of the property !!

At the Senetan resort my husband and I have been overwhelmed with the kindred spirit of the Balinese people. The staff of this small and personal resort went out of their way to make our stay the most pleasant one possible. It felt like we received a VIP treatment from the moment we arrived until our departure. We received a wonderful full body massage and an upgrade in our accommodation for a very reasonable price. This meant we had a swimming pool with an even more stunning view and a beautifully presented villa with a stunning bathroom. The staff members have fun together which gives the place a really happy feel. Whatever their role is, from the ladies in the restaurant, the cleaners, masseurs to the people at the front desk they are extremely helpful. Nothing is too much to ask and they always give you a smile. The traditional Indonesian food and the Indian dishes at Senetan are delicious, but they have also more western food for variation. The resort is literally placed at the edge of the jungle, further away from the coast. This means it’s much quieter then other parts of Bali and gave us the opportunity to reconnect with nature. The trees act as lungs, it brought us back to ourselves. Stay here and you’ll come back totally rejuvenated!
