At the Senetan resort my husband and I have been overwhelmed with the kindred spirit of the Balinese people. The staff of this small and personal resort went out of their way to make our stay the most pleasant one possible. It felt like we received a VIP treatment from the moment we arrived until our departure. We received a wonderful full body massage and an upgrade in our accommodation for a very reasonable price. This meant we had a swimming pool with an even more stunning view and a beautifully presented villa with a stunning bathroom. The staff members have fun together which gives the place a really happy feel. Whatever their role is, from the ladies in the restaurant, the cleaners, masseurs to the people at the front desk they are extremely helpful. Nothing is too much to ask and they always give you a smile. The traditional Indonesian food and the Indian dishes at Senetan are delicious, but they have also more western food for variation. The resort is literally placed at the edge of the jungle, further away from the coast. This means it’s much quieter then other parts of Bali and gave us the opportunity to reconnect with nature. The trees act as lungs, it brought us back to ourselves. Stay here and you’ll come back totally rejuvenated!

It was a really enjoyable stay. We stayed for 3 night and it's not enough because of the comfort. The staff were really nice. They gave us everything we need. The environment was so lovely. It's clean and quiet. We can enjoy the nature and be fresh. The room is large and neat. The bed was so comfortable. The pool was always clean. We can swim anytime we want. The breakfast was served well and tasted good. Overall it's almost a perfect stay. But there is some area that can be improved. The water heater didn't work perfectly. Sometimes it need too much time to be hot and not working in the bathtub. We think it can be better to add an exhaust fan in the bathroom so it can be dry faster. For conclusion, We love to stay here and definitely want to come again. And we believe it'll be more enjoyable in our next stay.

Loved our stay of three nights at Senetan Villas. Admittedly the place is looking a little worn and might be due for some upgrades but what a setting! Loved the staff, the food, the villas and the jungle encroaching on your villa yard. No traffic noise and very few visitors there while we were so peace and quiet was absolute... except for the cicadas! If you are looking for the hustle and bustle of Kuta or Ubud this place may not be for you, but if you are after a getaway where you can relax in privacy and peace and quiet surrounded by indonesia’s natural beauty, BOOK NOW!
