I stayed here for 3 nights back in February as a solo traveller - in room 306 which is a self contained villa right by the lift that takes you from one part down to the very bottom of the resort. It was perfectly located i the middle of the resort and some mornings i was lucky enough to have some moneys crawling on the roof from the nearby trees. Some afternoon i spent watching them playing in the trees it was heavenly. I never really left the resort other than to do a Balinese cooking class - why would you? The spa at the bottom of the resort was so relaxing i had an hours massage in the middle of a thunder storm! There wasn't much of an atmosphere after dinner by the bar area - i dont know if the resort was quieter than normal. the jungle noises and sunrises from the balcony were beautiful, Great pool - impeccable service - idyllic location and great value. I cant recommend this place enough and would love to return one day.

What a beautiful stay! Easy and comfortable, I highly recommend. A solo traveller, it was easy to have a mindful, quiet stay and staff really took care of you and remembered you throughout your stay (always had a smile too). They helped me to book at the spa (where you can hear the river and rain) and to take a self-guided bike ride around the area which was gorgeous! Room was lovely and I slept so so well, awoken only by the gorgeous sunrise filtering through in the mornings. Beautiful pool and views from throughout the resort, the furnicular was really fun, and food and breakfast were great. I was worried about just being at a resort all day but never had a moment of boredom! Would start the days perfectly with yoga and the shuttle to Ubud was so handy (but was glad to be located out of the town). Felt a great retreat while the world started to lock down with Corona Virus, and staff were on hand to help you with further travel plans or any virus related queries. Could have easily stayed in isolation here!

Iwan the guest services manager and his staff are very attentive and make you feel at home as soon as you arrive to this beautifully landscaped resort. It is quite a way out of Ubud in the jungle/rice paddies. We spent 5 days and would have loved to stay longer. The pictures are a true representation of how beautiful it is there!

Amazing, there's nothing else to say. I'm suuper happy that we chose to come here. Nandini competed with some others but based on their reviews we finally chose them. The room, minimalistic but nice mix of colors. Mosquitos, almost none, we slept like babies! The pool and view in the morning, you watch over the forrest, as it's in the middle of it, far from the city. It's so relaxing to listen to the animals that are out there. We always had staff around, they were well trained as their English was intermediate and always friendly. The pool is heaven, we went every day. With this climate you should take advantage of it too. We can also recommend the cooking class they recommended. They'll get you a taxi, there and back, no worries. We saw mostly couples, I think this is a good place to share some nice days with your better half.
