Had the worst experience ever . There is not one element of my stay that I did not have an issue with . To start off 1. During check in - no communication from the staff regarding their requirements of massage / yoga booking . Was unable to do any massage by the river due to lack of communication 2 . During check in , they took my Amex card for security and did not tell me they don’t accept Amex payments . This is communicated only during check out 3 . The food at the restaurant took forever to be served . They took an hour to get me my pasta . This is after I told them I’m unwell and just wanted to eat and sleep. 4 . Something as basic as warm water - took an hour and a reminder to reach my room 5 . Housekeeping decides to wake me up first thing in the morning asking if they can clean my room ? I’m on a vacation - I don’t want to be woken at 8 am without me making that request 6. Chocolates ( which attracted ants ) are kept by the staff next to my bed . I came back to the hotel late evening to see ants crawling all over The hotel is super far from city Center , restaurant has limited options of food and is over priced The only consolation is that the staff ( despite all the good ups ) is super polite and does what they can to make up . But it was such a struggle on a daily basis . I would give this place a negative rating if I could There are plenty other places which can provide the jungle ambiance . This place is just not worth it

Amazing rooms with lots of space and deluxe bathrooms, incredible views by the pool, very attentive, helpful and friendly staff who catered brilliantly for allergies. Food was amazing although would say it seemed a little expensive. Welcome drink was very nice, complimentary sunset yoga and rice field trek were excellent and the river waterfall is is a great addition.

We stayed for three nights and after 8 nights in Kuta in the hope for some relaxation before travelling home. In terms of the hotel, I would advise staying somewhere else if you’re looking for something special. The rooms, restaurant and pool side are very average with other hotels in the area offering much more. The menu in the restaurant is expensive, limited and does get boring after the second night. The hotel offers a very limited non alcoholic drinks menu. Please be advised to take your own soft drinks as they only offer full fat coke, sprite and water (still or sparkling). We ate in the restaurant all three nights, twice our bill was wrong and twice our order wasn’t right. We arrived at 2pm when check in is allowed but had to wait in the bar for two hours whilst our room was still being put together. No offer of a drink, left in the middle of a storm and our luggage soaking once we finally arrived to the room. We had a jungle room suite which upon arrival looked lovely but the bath taps were broke and the outdoor shower barely worked, we raised this and we’re told it’ll take four days for new parts to arrive… which is fair enough and these things happen but we’d have left by this time which was a shame. The pool side has a lovely jungle view but does look tired. Most the parasols were broken along with some of the beds, paint missing and the pool side tiles not the cleanest… it really lacks TLC. The purpose of our visit to Bali was our honeymoon so we are really gutted we are just thankful we only had a few days here!

My mum and I had the absolute pleasure of discovering Nandini Jungle resort through a luxury escape deal. It was the perfect location to spend a few nights in the jungle just out of Ubud truly relaxing. The suite we had at the top of the resort near the reception desk was beautiful and very spacious. All of the staff were absolutely brilliant and really went out of their way to make our stay special. Special mention to Giday from the front desk, Pitmana the night manager who took us on a guided hike one morning, Putu and Widi in the spa who gave us the most amazing massages in the spa. All of the restaurant staff at breakfast, lunch and dinner were incredible. We had the pleasure of enjoying the 7 course tasting menu one night which was very special. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, it is truly magical and I can’t wait to return again one day!

Me and my two friends stayed at the Nandini Resort for our 4 days in Ubud and it was perfection! We had a jungle view villa that was absolutely stunning. It was private, safe, clean, and so peaceful. The rooms also have powerful ACs and we stayed very cool in the Bali heat! We ate breakfast at the resort each morning which was always fantastic. They have a selection of Balinese or western breakfasts as well as a whole buffet of fruits and Indonesian bites to try – all delicious. Lastly, the staff here at Nandini are so incredibly kind and helpful. Anything you need, they are more than happy to help you with. They can help you with taxis, planning activities, accessing an ATM, and anything else you may need. I can't speak highly enough about them! Overall, this was an amazing trip for me and my friends and I hope to return in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at the Nandini Jungle Resort. The location in Payangan north of Ubud is quite secluded and far away from the airport, but its central location on the island is perfect for various explorations. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful at all times. They pay attention to any wishes one might have and they are very considerate. The resort has one restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a bar. The prices are quite high for balinese standards but for tourists mostly affordable. The resort offers a complimentary shuttle service to the town of Ubud, leaving at 10 A.M. or 2 P.M. and returning from Ubud once at 3 P.M. There you can eat for the typical low price. They also offer a great sunset yoga session for free. The pool isn't gigantic, but for such a secluded small resort it is more than enough and provides a nice outlook into the jungle complete with pool bar. There is also a spa with different services on offer with a jacuzzi next to it, that's free to use. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, including a smart TV with easy to set up access to your account on Netflix, prime TV or other services. Mosquito nets are hung around the bed, but there was no real need for it during our visit in September. Keep in mind that you are visiting a tropical island and you are staying in the jungle. That means that you might stumble upon a variety of insects and other animals like geckos that you can't avoid anywhere on Bali anyway. The room you sleep in is pretty tightly sealed against the outside, so that insects won't reach you there anyway. The hotel also offers other services on request like shuttle service to the DPS airport or exploration tours to different locations on Bali. Alternatively you can of course book other tours that'll pick you up from the hotel. All in all the time we spend at Nandini was wonderful and we wished that we would have booked more nights there.

Incredible jungle location. Worth all of its five stars! The staff are so lovely and helpful. The food is superb. Breakfast has a great variety of top quality options, including local titbits. We had room 25 and it was opulent with a relaxing balcony and a bathroom with a deep bath to soak in. Luxurious!
