I went to the resort on my own for a conference. The conference location was lovely -- the service, the room, the grounds. The staff was kind and gracious at every turn - from the front desk to the drivers to the grounds staff, the restaurant staff, every single person was exceptional. The service was beyond what I expected --...

From airport pickup to dropoff, every interaction with the staff at Ayung Resort is wonderful. They truly go above and beyond - always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. You really feel at home. Food is great and the resort, and the rooms/amenities are very clean. The surrounding rainforest itself is beautiful. The resort offers many activities to keep...

My stay here was a birthday present from my partner Kazim and good friend Yudi. So beautiful and when the hotel staff and management knew it was my birthday they really put in the extra effort to make my stay the best it could be. It is a little bit out of Ubud centre but the hotel can help you...

Really impressive hotel. The attention to detail in the decor is really impressive and the grounds are beautiful. The restaurant view at breakfast is nothing short of spectacular! Our room was comfy with a lovely view of the valley. The mini bar had complimentary soft drinks which was a nice touch. Our area was lower in the valley down from...

My friend and I got picked up at the airport by Perry(?) who was very sweet and looked after us on our journey. We were in Room 306 which was great for the two of us and because we were deemed as "long-stayers" (13 nights!!), we were offered an upgrade but were so happy with our room and location which...

Second time my husband and I stayed in this hotel. We wanted to return to see if it was still the same....And yes it was. Ok it is pricey for Ubud but you get the quiteness, the service and the views. We asked for a Princess suite and the room is amazing, beautiful and comfortable. Service is impeccable and the...

We were only scheduled to stay here for one night and ended up adding 4 additional days. Once those were up we decided to extend once again until the end of our trip!! Thank you so much...

The resort is located in a rain forest and spread over a large area. We stayed in Lakshmana Wing of the resort overlooking infinity pool below. Rooms are well equipped and with nice view of the forest from the balcony. Staff is courteous and polite. Service is also good. Food was excellent. Evening tea with snacks is an added attraction.

The Ayung Resort is a breathtaking, mystique and unique lifestyle hotel, perched high up on the bank of a mostly untouched tropical mountain rainforest gorge, in the traditional Balinese village of Payangan Ubud, surrounded by the gentle, spiritual tranquility and pace of Balinese life. In the rocks of the hotels pathways and along it’s 600 meters long riverbank fronting the Ayung Resort, 250 of the finest Balinese Stone Carvers have painstakingly worked, for over a 2 year period,to carve the spectacular Hindu mythologies, Ramayana and Mahabharata amongst others.
