This is a very well designed and built property to work with the environment. All of the staff from the GM Juan Paolo to the house and garden staff were all very pleasant and professional. The deluxe rooms are not large but more than adequate and work well with plenty of facilities and a very spacious outdoor shower also and outdoor patio. Great pool overlooking the natural jungle and adjacent to the casual dining great area where we also enjoyed an excellent breakfast. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff, the setup, the environment and the food were all excellent. It is a very lovely property at night time. If you’re after the glitz, glamour and lights of a city hotel, don’t go, but if you’re after a peaceful jungle retreat type of break then this is it. Lots of monkeys in their natural habitat.

I can only rave about how brilliant my stay was at this property. It was a very relaxing experience in the middle of Ubud's lush jungle. Being surrounded with nature whilst simultaneously being pampered with Alila's amazing understated luxury equal 'zen'. The staff is very upbeat, caring, kind, yet remain professional despite the hardship that they have had to endure due to the pandemic. The swimming pool is out of this world. The view is just gorgeous. Breakfast time was always something I looked for because of how serene it is. The villa was of good size. It has a lot of big windows that allow natural light to penetrate throughout the day but the design of the villa is such that your privacy is guaranteed. Others can't see you despite the outdoor shower and bathtub. Overall, I did not regret spending 3 nights at Alila Ubud. Will definitely return again the next time I go to Bali again! Kudos to all the staff at Alila Spa and the friendly Pak Windi

My best friend and I stayed here for 3 nights - our first experience of the beautiful island of Bali. We had an amazing time at the Alila. First of all, the food here is amazing. There's a different choice for breakfast every day, and the dinner we had on the last night was among the best we had anywhere on our 10-day trip. The young lady who served us during that meal was amazing (sorry I can't recall her name), a real credit to the hotel. It is easy and cheap to get a taxi to take you into Ubud for the evening, and I'd definitely recommend Spice restaurant. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, and for us the wildlife (including the monkeys) was a treat to see. Our room was fab and even had an outside bath tub! Loved our stay, hope to come back one day. Thank you!

This is my first time live and stay in Resort property located in around mountain area that surround with animals (monkeys, squirels and birds). I experience also laugh yoga in Balai Bengong that really interesting, i hope all yoga exercise is located in here, LOL. The food, i would say that i really love nasi goreng ayam which is the most tasty and authentic in Alila Ubud. The view on the breakfast facing the pool is magnificent, than to ibu Marianti to host us. Also we can see the inside of water bottling that they used, that time, Mr.JP who is the one who explain me and my friend. If you want to have more bonding with nature, stay in this one in Ubud, One suggestion is sometimes guest did not want the curtain to be opened after cleaning by HK, might be some privacy things inside.

Dear renandrai, Thank you for your review. I'm very happy to see that you enjoyed your first visit to a jungle resort. It's truly a different feeling when you're so close to nature. It's very relaxing and calming. I'm also glad that you enjoyed our Nasi Goreng. It means a lot coming from an Indonesian guest. I also appreciate that you took interest in our sustainability initiatives. Our water bottling plant has helped us in eliminating single use plastic bottles, and it means a lot to us that guests appreciate our initiatives. Thank you for coming to visit. We certainly hope to see you again in the near future! Best regards, JP Alfonso
