Had a lovely stay at the alila, the staff are amazing and so helpful. The room was lovely and it felt so peaceful there. Breakfast was lovely with different juices every day. We took the complimentary shuttle in to ubud the last on was 2.30pm we had our evening meal out and got a taxi back ( the hotel had already told us not to pay over a certain price) After reading reviews about seeing a lot of monkeys we only saw one, he didn’t bother us. Would definitely stay here again so beautiful.

Ubud is definitely a beautiful part of Bali to visit to see the traditional Balinese dance and enjoy the Babe Guling (suckling pig ) etc... We stayed at Alila Ubud because of the stunning view of Infiniti pool and different type of villas. We were fortunate to get the pool villa which is surrounded by the beautiful pond. At night, the water lilies open up and you start to hear the frogs singing. You don't experience that back home! There are plenty of things to do in Ubud but one of the things we wanted to do was to take the cooking class at Alila. They had to modify the class due to covid restriction, however, the chef Gusti took us to the local market in the morning and showed us around. We got to see the beautiful fruits and vegetables lined up throughout the market. After having a nice breakfast, we met with Chef again and he taught us how to make Balinese traditional food(6 items!) We got a recipe book and aprons to take home! From the time we checked in to the day we checked out, everyone called us by our name and asked how our days were going. It is pretty impressive that they memorize our names and the villa number... ! Thanks to the front desk, Sangman, the food and beverage manager, Yuni, Chef Gusti and all the employees for looking after us for our 4 night stay! The spa was also excellent! We had a couple massage with facial and it was so good and relaxing 👌 I'm sorry I didn't get everyone's names.. but we are so grateful for your assistance.

What a wonderful find. This place is a paradise in the jungle. The infinity pool has amazing views of the jungle. The room was beautiful, very clean and with everything you need. The outdoor bath and shower were wonderful. The reception was lovely and we were greeted with cold flannels and refreshing drinks. This is a perfect base to explore the centre of Bali and the jungle. The staff here can not do enough for you, the service was the best we have ever experienced, anywhere in the world. The wonderful restaurant was so good, that we chose to eat there every night, despite there being many restaurants within a short taxi ride away. The food was exceptionally good. The hotel provides a free shuttle in to Ubud, a few times each day, and we made use of this one day, walking from the centre of Ubud to the monkey forest (well worth the visit), the market and temples in Ubud. The hotel also arranged for us to have a half day tour with Arjana, from Bali Ancient tours. This was wonderful and gave us chance to see the rice terraces, a typical Balinese home, a coffee plantation and water temple, volcano and water fall. You will see wild life around this hotel, it’s in the jungle. We were delighted to see monkeys around every day we were there. Be careful to leave your room doors locked, as the cheeky monkeys might sneak in and steal your bananas if not. But the staff are very good at keeping them away, so no need to worry about them. We loved seeing them. We genuinely can’t recommend this little hotel enough, it was truly wonderful because the staff are the friendliest, most helpful and professional people we have ever met. We hope to return and wish we had booked to stay longer x

Fabulous location not far from the backpacker madness of central Ubud but close to all it attractions, amenities and restaurants. Resort is in the midst of the lush Ubud jungle and rice patties. Absolutely heavenly and relaxing. Staff is attentive responsive and thoughtful. Dining and Spa services also memorable.

We loved everything about the hotel. The room is about the right size, cozy, we had a beautiful view from our room. Food at the restaurant (both for breakfast and dinner) was nice. Service is excellent. We'd love to stay at the Alila again.

I really loved staying in Alila Ubud. It was perfect for anyone who loves to be close with nature and need a peaceful place. I stayed in pool villa which had a big private pool. The infinity pool itself was so beautiful. You will get complimentary mineral water if you swim in the pool. Breakfast was also delicious with a la carte. We could choose variety of dishes. The staffs were very nice. I especially would thank a staff in the restaurant, Marianti which was very attentive and helped me with some issues and requests. The Alila Spa was very very relaxing, I was treated by Mariani. I would highly recommend this to everyone who loves massage. As I stayed for my birthday, Alila also gave me complimentary birthday cake. Thank you Alila for the hospitality, would love to come back!

Dear Titry, I am more than delighted to learn that you had an amazing stay with us. Not just the ground and property, more importantly you highlighted how the team delivered the service during the stay. I've shared your special notes to Marianti and Mariani, both are super happy and proud of the service they delivered to the guests. Happy belated birthday from the green valley of Alila Ubud and I look forward to welcoming you back, hopefully not in a distance future. Sincerely, Bagus

This was our second visit to Alila Ubud. We were very much looking forward to it and they exceeded our expectations, by far! Mr Bagus (GM) and the whole team at Alila Ubud are super attentive and show true caring for guests as well as for the property itself, that they regard as their second home. Globalist benefits recognition and upgrades were excellent. It was a pleasure for us spending a week in this beautiful place in the jungle surrounded by the most authentic Balinese hospitality. We will be coming back soon.

Very glad that Alila Ubud honoured a voucher bought 2 years ago as we were unable to use due to the pandemic. During our stay, the staffs were very friendly but the real star performer was Widi. She was proactive, very hospitable and ensured everything went well whenever we were at the restaurant or pool; making recommendations of the menu, replacing chilled bottled water promptly and excellent service recovery despite we told her we were very full. At the Cabana Lounge, their udang rica rica in the menu was so good that my friend ate 2 days in a row. We are looking to return very soon!

I've had hotel credits with Alila Ubud since the pandemic happened and travel to Bali was not possible. Now that travel has opened up and I'm looking to utilise my credits, they have completely ghosted me. I've sent emails for the past 2 weeks to their cluster head of sales as well as the hotel's official email, and none were replied. This is bad hospitality and extremely unprofessional. The deposit has been withheld for more than two years, and now that travel has opened up they are refusing to honour it? You can take my $600USD deposit away but never my anger. Will avoid ALL Alila and Hyatt-related hotels at all cost.
