Stayed here with a group tour. This lodging is located on a high vantage point so the surrounding views are spectacular. Because of its location there are steep stairs to go to all of the cottages. The cottages themselves are rustic, beautiful, and quite romantic. We shared a two-story villa with patios, balconies, and a waterfall in the back. The...

n impromptu trip. Made a last minute booking after a business trip in Denpasar and drove to Munduk. We stayed in the standard cottage for 1 night and we wish we could have stayed longer. The cottage is a refurbished barn overlooking the paddy fields. To wake up in the morning and saw the golden sun on the paddy fields...

The staff, the food, the gardens and the views were all excellent but the hotel was let down by the rooms. The rooms are tired and require maintenance; the basic rooms are small and dark, with a bathroom down steep stairs and the more modern rooms, although much more comfortable, are in need of upgrading. The bathrooms are very strange...

Dear Lizzie Worcs Worcs, We apologize that your expectation can not be fulfilled with our facilities. Our basic concept is conservation our ancient heritage such as our cottage ( hard wood, almost 100 years old ). It was abode of Wisnu ( storage for rice paddy ), therefore we did not modified to deep, in order the ancient character is...

A return visit to this great location after an enjoyable drive from Seminyak and through Ubud. Driving here is not for the faint hearted but it is good fun and a great way to see more of the island. The cottages are quite basic with only cold water showers but the small balcony overlooking rice fields is idyllic. They have...

This is a place where you can meditate and just relax. Very calm atmosphere, fresh temperature, rooms are OK. The restaurant is very nice, perhaps they should make effort on their food ?? lack of taste.

We stayed 3 nights in a Villa which offered amazing views to the north including a distant view of the ocean on clear days. The room was spacious and clean and more than adequate. However it was not fully sealed by design and sleeping under a mosquito net seemed to add to the experience. Whilst there not appear to be...

In our bungalow (20) you could hear EVERYTHING from the rooms above and adjacent, even people whispering. It sounded like an earthquake when someone was coming down the stairs. Ear plugs strongly recommended! Not very secure either, no safe in the room and the door does lock but you could quite easily push it open even when locked. The saving...

Puri Lumbung was a real jowel discovery in our trip of 2 weeks (2 family - 10 people) organized by Atalante of France. This is a budget hotel pricewise but offered great amenities. Rooms are large and cosy with the bathroom downstairs. Views on the rice field are breath taking and a number of short treks are available from the...

Whether sitting outside for breakfast, or on a covered veranda for dinner, or from the balcony of our room, the views everywhere are breathtaking. Best massage of my life. Beautiful Balinese dance performance. Delicious food. Sunset views and drinks with other travelers. What could be better?

The restaurant at this accommodation is high quality. Great views whilst dining, live traditional music (when we were there at least!), friendly staff and well kept premises. On top of this, the food was excellent. Rarely do I eat desert whilst dining out but I felt I'd miss out if I didn't get more of their food on my visit!...
