One of the luxurious and yet serenity resort in Bali. Our villa so spacious with private pool, i mean real pool not plunge pool. Even though Amankila already more than 25 years but the maintenance is so great. Cleanliness you can see directly. Their service above the average and staff attentiveness absolutely great. Must enjoy their afternoon tea with local snacks, enjoy our video of Amankila in personal IG. Thank you

We stayed at Amankila for part of our honeymoon and it was perfect. The service was exceptional- everyone was so sweet and knew about my husbands allergies (to nuts) which I was very appreciative of. Special shout out to Ibu Kasih and Adiastini for taking good care of us during our meals. It was also nice that we were able to communicate with the front desk by WhatsApp for our needs whether it be reservation for the Italian restaurant, confirming times for excursions and miscellaneous requests. As we stayed for 4 nights we were eligible for the Romance package which included: -Balinese dress with water blessing (Balinese Hindu prayer) -three course private Satay dinner -private morning cruise with snorkeling at the blue lagoon (reef with plentiful fish!) -1 hour Balinese massage for 2 We also opted to add on: -East Bali Tour (Aga Bali, Taman Ujung, Taman Tirtha Ganga and Lempuyang temple)- I was especially blown away by Tirtha Ganga and Lempuyang temple with majestic Mount Agung in view -Balinese Cooking class with Chef Jati- so much fun- we made lots of dishes- Sop Ikan, (nut free Satay) grilled fish and scrumptious curry -Tamansari breakfast on “Govardhan Hill” :) so beautiful and highly recommend We had a fantastic time- it was the perfect balance of relaxation and peace with activities. The grounds have 2 restaurants (The Terrace - Indonesian food + Western menu) and Italian restaurant downstairs. There is also a cocktail bar. I was so impressed with the quality of the food. Breakfast was included and made to order. I loved their Nasi goreng which I had for breakfast every morning. I loved Chef Jati’s soups and Indonesian fare. Again very appreciative of their ability to make meals without nuts for my husband and have him enjoy the taste of Balinese cuisine. The cocktails were great my favorite was the Karangasem (Balinese arak, tamarind, ginger, lime) They also had a Balinese dance performance for one of the nights we were there which was lovely- it was the story of the Frog Prince. We stayed in an ocean suite villa which was very private and spacious. The main three tiered infinity pool near the lobby as well as the 40m pool down by the beach were great well maintained areas to swim. The turn down service for our villa was very frequent and I loved the bedtime stories left each night. One thing to note there are a lot of steps on the property but I felt it was manageable and good exercise to burn off some of the Nasi goreng I was eating every morning. Definitely want to come back again and would recommend to loved ones looking for some rest and relaxation. After staying in Ubud I also appreciated the beauty and peace of Eastern Bali. Suksma Dear Amankila Family for making part of our honeymoon so pleasant and memorable!

We went to Bali a few days early before a cruise and I wanted a place to recover from jet lag. I picked Amankila and was impressed with the gorgeous room, gracious service and spectacular hillside setting. Our room was spotlessly clean and private; it included a pool and an ocean view. Yes, there were some tankers in the ocean but still it was quite pretty. The staff was genuinely helpful and intuitive; there were many little touches that made our stay special and relaxing. It was such a pleasure to be spoiled. I would recommend the market tour and cooking class with Jati (he is a force of nature) and the tour of East Bali. Both were very enjoyable and interesting.

We stayed here last March. It was a very memorable experience. Two thumbs up for an extra mile customer service, plus the fact that they've got SUPERB VIEWS and SUPER ELEGANT ROOM (very clean too!) We've been to multiple hotels but this property is cut above the rest. Their staffs are very friendly, hospitable and they practice selflessness. Thank you for their genuine, warm hospitality too. This place is definitely irresistible. From scale of 1 to 10, you're 10 in all aspects, Amankila! Great job! You deserve the highest commendation👍👍Special mention to Gus, Sempen, Ayu, Sadika, Sudarsa, Suci👍

We did not stay here, and only went for a day trip. However, we are no strangers to Aman, having been to 5 of their properties. The service we experienced here was very good, but not perfect and the property itself just felt old and dated. The “lobby” also felt chaotic when we arrived. The famous 3-tier pool also felt underwhelming compared to photos and the view is marred by many oil tanker ships as there’s an oil depot beside it. Overall, I don’t regret not staying here and I don’t think it’s a “true” Aman if you know what I mean.

My wife and I chose this destination for our honeymoon. We are on our third day here, and I have to say this resort lacks the "Aman" name. We are staying in the nicest one bedroom suite on the property (~$2500/night). Everyone tries too hard with little results. The staff are very courteous, but do not speak English well enough to communicate with anyone, including concierge or room service, etc. (They ask me 10 times the same question to the point I just have to say "I'm busy, go away" and that hurts me to say. So far we have gone on their ATV Jungle tour which was alright given that it just started up. Our "private boat ride" was basically a canoe that went less than 10kmh up and down shoreline. Disappointing. Food all tastes the same with no flavor. My favorite food item would be the salt I add. Their "spa" is more or less non-existent and all massages, etc. are done in room. Their "gym" is a few items placed outside on the grass near the beach. I hope our stay improves, but felt compelled to give this review.

The resort is very beautiful. The beach is one of the cleanest and probably the most „paradise like“ I have seen on Bali so far. The service is beyond everything i have ever experienced before. In 7 days not a single mistake, not even a small one. Always attentive, super friendly and also reserved. Strong attention to detail and everything well thought through. For special dinners etc. the staff went the extra mile to make things perfect. The rooms are spacious, very clean and super comfortable. The resort atmosphere is perfect to calm down and relax. Lots of tranquility. The food is very good. Especially the Balinese and Indonesian dishes are great and among the best on the island i’d say. We will definitely be back. The only thing that needs some improvements is the gym. I would recommend to create a space with some simple equipment like a rack, dumbbells and long bar bell and maybe a space for chin-ups and dips.

Such a beautiful hotel with amazing architecture and breathtaking view. We stayed for 2 nights in the ocean view villa. The room is so spacious, comfortable, so beautiful and clean, except for the occasional bugs and insects (understandably so, since it is surrounded by nature). We also booked their sunrise cruise with picnic breakfast and also their picnic breakfast at tamansari, both are definitely experiences you shouldn’t miss. However, we did have a rather negative first impression of the resort. Before our stay, we contacted the hotel to book their activities and the contact person gives a rather unpleasant and unfriendly response to the queries, which is very unexpected from such luxury & expensive resort..it almost made us cancel our booking altogether. Though after we emailed the manager, he apologized immediately and helped us with our activity bookings himself. Other than that, all of the staff we encounter at the resort are very helpful, friendly and polite, but if I may say, lacks a bit of warmth. Another thing, the food we had for dinner are good, but a little mediocre compared to the price.

Sincere heartfelt thanks to the Amankila team for our wonderous stay in Oct-2022! (1) The superior talent of the Balinese staff that interacted with us during our stay really made our holiday special. Great language skills and manners. Please continue to maintain this. A lot of the staff have worked at Amankila for many many years, which is a huge achievement for Akira Shiota-san. The high level of service from the Balinese staff is what gives Amankila its luxury status. At the end of our stay I felt like they were all my friends! (2) Wow what a property! Everything about the design of the resort is smart and beautiful. When we build our new home we will incorporate some of the same design features, so that we can always relive our holiday. Villa number 20 will always have a special place in our memories. (3) We really needed that holiday, it was our first holiday since Sep-2019. We were very stressed out with work and issues at home. But our luxury holiday at Amankila made us feel human again. We truly had a huge transformation in our mental health. We recovered in many ways. (4) Thank you so much for the extra special treatment you gave us. We appreciate paying the bill off every evening of our stay, so thanks for allowing us to do that. The upgrade to the infinity pool villa was so amazing. A huge privilege that we will never forget. Thanks for giving us this once-in-a-lifetime treasure. (5) One of the best things about the stay were all the small presents, every night we would get a note about Balinese and Hindu culture with a small gift. It was incredible. This made us feel very welcome and accepted. I have made a folder that has all the notes we were given every night. (6) We will be uploading our video to YouTube in the coming months. I will send a link to you when the video is published. Please 'like' the video and share with your team!
