The staff were very friendly and helpful, particulalrly the manager Tony. The Bar was well stocked and the complimentary breakfast was comprehensive and nice. The pool whilst smaller than those in the nearby larger hotels was clean and water temperature was good. We stayed in a "Superior Room" whch was adquate for the price. The hotel is a reasonably short... More

First you arrive at a construction site to check in, walk all the way to the other side to the rooms not being constructed on and find a hot box of a room with broken air-conditioning, dirty toilet and stained sheets. After a distasteful dinner in the restaurant and a swim in the veey small pool, you're then greeted by... More

The rooms are spacious and very clean with several types to choose from the superior rooms are great value for money and if you want to stay in something a bit more upmarket the deluxe rooms... We have NEVER felt the need to leave a hotel before but we left this one after one night! We had paid for five nights. Our arrival was late at night and we couldn't see our 'surrounds.' In the morning I discovered a 'war zone.' There is a new pool being constructed and I'm sure it will be lovely once... More

Stayed 5 nights over a week ago. Upon checking in we (now regretfully) handed over payment in full in cash. I was fully aware of the construction going on in this property. I emailed way ahead asking to be placed as far away from the construction as possible. Guess what? Our room upon checking in had pride of place smack... More

Spent 7 nights at the Baleka. Situated ideally on Jl. Werkudara and close to beach, restaurants and shopping on Jl. Legianand Jl. Padma. One of the older resorts in Legian but currently undergoing renovations with new rooms, pool, lobby and coffee shop under construction. I stayed in a ground floor room (139) right next to the renovations but never had... More

The Baleka Hotel is in a great location 1 street back from the beach. It is currently undergoing extensive renovations which should be finished by early 2017. We stayed in a pool side room which was spacious and well equipped. There was a bath and separate shower. Breakfast is nothing fancy without a great variety but the egg station is... More
