I stayed 3 weeks in this very well maintained hotel located just off JL Nakula. Despite its location it is extremely quiet offering small well equipped rooms ,all with a leafy outlook. Staff are excellent with daily room service impeccable. The pool onsite is separate to the rooms and is also well maintained. The breakfast is Al a carte and variety is on offer .
Arana Suite was a pleasant surprise for the great budget price. The lobby is cute and open with the very inviting pool right behind it. The rooms are small and compact but have all of the items of a 4 star hotel including bath robes. Every room has a small cute balcony, mine attracted some tiny birds that were gorgeous to watch. Breakfast is included in the room price, but there are also a number of really nice cafes and restaurants nearby as well as all the ride share food delivery options and convenience stores. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you're on a budget, this place is awesome.
Perfect location, great rooms very clean and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Excellent value for money also and provided airport transfers. Close to everything, but just tucked away in a quiet little pocket.
I was recently lucky enough to be able to have a family holiday with my grown up children and my younger chidren. I saw Arana suite hotel had some really good reviews and seeing that I needed to book 5 rooms to accomodate us all, I wanted to make sure we were not going to be disapointed. I certainly wasn't. This hotel was perfect for us. The rooms are not huge, but they didn't need to be. They had everything one could want. They were all spotlessly clean. The beds were big and very comfortable. The bathrooms were also big and the showers were powerful with plenty of hot water. Check in was quick and easy, even an ice cold drink was handed out to us all. The staff are very friendly, we were always greeted with a smile. I was really impressed with breakfast. Arana offer something a bit different to the usual buffet options that most establisments do. They have an A la Carte choice with everything from eggs benedict, sausage, egg and bacon, or my favourite Nasi or Mi Goring. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Plenty of coffee or tea is provided as well as fruit and fruit juice. You can opt to have breakfast in your room, we opted to eat in the lobby every day which was lovely. The hotel provided us with airport transfers. Airport to hotel was IDR 200000. A driver was waiting for us at the airport with a name card. A much more desirable way to get to the hotel than a taxi. Location of the hotel is really good. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Beach is about a 15 minute walk away as is the resort centre....a taxi will cost you the equivilent of about $2.50 if you are feeling lazy. We had a bit of an incident whist we were there. The glass door to the bathroom must of had a flaw in it as it shattered one evening when my wife was sliding it closed. This would have been no fault of the hotel, I was very impressed with how the situation was handled. The first thing they were concerned about was if either myself or my wife were hurt in any way. They then moved us to another room immediatly even helping us move all of our belongings. The customer service was excellent and some of the best I have ever come across. This is a boutique hotel that is amazing value. I would thoroughly reccomend it to anyone. We would not hesitate to book here again. Well done to all the staff at Arana suite for making us so welcome.…
When u arrived in bali on the last day of year 2019 and it was raining with some road closure for new years eve traffic...this place is really calming me down. We are travelling with old parents and young children...selfdriving from airport with new years eve traffic. Parking is not an issue, security was helping us alot. Location is not far from the main road but surely is quite. 24hours fastfood chains and mini market are like 10 minutes walk. Room is spacious, this hotel has such a lot of details like 5 stars hotel. Breakfast is not so much choices but nice. Staff is friendly, they were trying their best to serve full book customers due long holiday. Love their wishper zone...even though some neighbours couldnt understand it....but hey....its new years eve.
We travelled now for 2 weeks in Badung and Ubud and have travelled many times to Legian but this place is far out No 1 in value for money. Yes it is a small narrow hotel but the room is great, AC well positioned, shower and place to sit outside!! Breakfast great. A hidden gem - congrats Arana team
I admit quite often I book a chain hotel, because you know you are going to get a particular standard depending on star rating and location. But then you yearn for something a bit different, more local, more personal. And so for Bali I looked at the TA bed n breakfast listings and came across the Arana Suites. Good reviews, great prices, location sounded fine. Prior to departure I contacted the hotel and asked to book their airport transfer service, which was offered at a good rate as well. I had not judged what to expect at Denpasar airport arrivals. It was hundreds and hundreds of sign waving drivers, and they all seemed to be smiling! It took a good ten minutes of walking up and down to find the sign with my name on. Roly the driver must have the patience of a saint, or a death wish driving through the crazy traffic. For every one car their must be 30 mad moped riders! Roly knows his way through the back streets of Denpasar and after 20 minutes or so, we pulled up outside the Arana Suites. The front of the hotel was a small pull on car park with a number of scooters etc. I admit I had wondered if I was in the right place. The front of the hotel is a large airy space with reception desk, a few tables and chairs etc. I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, a non alcoholic cocktail offered (chilled juice to perfection), and checked in with no hassle. Behind reception, is the small swimming Pool with loungers etc. I wanted to jump in there and then. From there, you enter the ‘jungle pathway’, with two two storey buildings of bedrooms. My room was on the ground floor, had a small private terrace with sofa and table. The 1st floor rooms have a balcony. The room itself had a large good firm bed, writing desk, flat screen tv, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The en-suite was spacious, with room to put your toiletries, and a large walk in shower with overhead drench shower head. Their is also a small mini safe (the combination would not set for me so used the key) that you can just get an iPad to fit in. The air con worked extremely well. The hotel also provides mozzy repellent, which is important. Everything was clean and well maintained. I lay on the bed and realised that t had indeed found an excellent oasis. The WiFi was free, and the signal excellent. Breakfast. You put your order in the night before, and it is brought on a tray to your room, or you can eat in reception. My tip is order a couple of things. The raisin danish are yummy, the fresh juice a delight, the fresh fruit I wanted double the amount. The only disappointment was the eggs, so I opted for the crushed avocado on toast..note breakfast is served from 6.30am. Other meals. Due to the monsoon rains of an eve, I was lazy and ate at the Arana. The chicken satay was decent enough, the chicken arrabiata extremely good. The burger though was a let down. But then I had desert..banana pancakes...another inch on the waist. I should add that I used Roly for my private day trips out. I just took his advice of what to do on each of the two days. I got to see so many wonderful things, and was pleased I had chosen this option for sightseeing. And great value too. Every member of staff was friendly and cheerful. Ok their English isn’t the best, but my command of their language is zero. I really didn’t want to leave. I wanted an extra couple of days here. It’s very much an adults of all ages without children type place. Lets keep it that way. One thing I was reminded of...don’t judge a book by its front cover. Ie the front of this guest house. Because once inside, it was wonderful. I now understand why some TA reviewers have been back…
tiny yet cozy hotel. we were stay here for two nights and it was a beautiful experience. arana's staffs are very friendly and polite. it was a quiet and peaceful hotel. makes us feels like we're in our own home. hotels are clean and comfy. we'll be back here on our next visit to bali.
My partner and I stayed here for a night after our flight arrived in Bali. They had great communication before we arrived, and when we got there late at night were waiting to check us in. We had a nice quiet night sleep and woke up to breakfast being delivered to our room. The common area is pretty, with a pool and some nice plants. The air conditioning and shower worked very well. We enjoyed our stay here and would happily come back
