Beds were so comfortable with such luxurious pillows!! Staff continually check over your every needs with happy faces and warm welcomes. Great wifi and the perfect location. The rooms are fully equipped with icy cold air conditioning, fridge, kettle and even a water fountain now that has hot and cold water on tap at a press of a button. This boutique hotel is nestled in the heart of Legian yet private and secure. Lovely pool that is regularly cleaned. An added bonus is now the laundry facilities. A well managed and friendly abode.

Not one complaint... This hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly, helpful & professional.
The beds are comfy, the walk-in shower is fantastic with a large shower rose, the two-seater couch on the balcony ( instead of hard wooden chairs).
So many little extras, like the scented candle in the bathroom, the large towels, shampoo, body wash, liquid soap, the filtered water tank with the option of boiling, room temp & cold water. Tea, coffee & sugar replenished every day, ...
So many more added extras.
We loved our stay, and we will definitely be back.
Thankyou Rama Gardens

Words don’t do the hotel and restaurant justice. From the time you arrived till it’s time to leave you will feel like you are the most important people there. Staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are having a great time. The beds are the best in Bali with great pillows. Each room has water dispensers with hot and cold water. Massive walk in showers, big tvs and a great aircon. The pool gets the right amount of sun so it’s not to cold and not to hot. The staff in the restaurant are wonderful, with the best coffee at breakfast. I’m not a seafood eater but the friends we go with rave about it. Truly the best place to stay in Legian. Can’t wait to be back next year.

We are return visitors to Rama Gardens. Many years travelling to Bali, this is our favourite place to stay. A small boutique hotel, only 30 rooms all surrounding the pool. The rooms are very clean, bathroom is updated and spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning is very cool. There’s a water machine that dispenses continuous filtered hot and cold water. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and very helpful with any request. There is a great sports bar/restaurant at the front. We had breakfast included and the choice to choose from was adequate and delicious. We were impressed with the coffee too! Was as good as any I’ve had at cafes. Great location, short stroll to the beach and on the corner to the very popular “Garlic Lane” which has many great shops, bars and restaurants. This hotel has been well maintained and cared for over the Covid closures, the quality and standard is still as high as it was before the shut downs. Not a big, party hotel. Won’t suit large noisy crowds. More for couples who appreciate clean, quiet, calm atmosphere. We will always choose Rama Gardens as our first choice to stay in Legian

This small hotel is definitely worthy of recommendation. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the staff both friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and the balcony overlooking the pool. A nice touch was the towel sculpture made each day with the fresh bath towels. The water filter which provided hot and cold water was much appreciated.
As octogenarians we found the steps to the room a little steep but we had booked a second story suite.
We would also recommend the restaurant attached. Excellent food and good service. Perhaps a menu could be included in the room to encourage more dining.
Two little things that would improve this fine establishment would be a TV Channel guide and a box of tissues in the bathroom.
Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Stumbled upon this little restaurant on our first night here. The staff where amazing and allowed us to swap ingredients to tend to vegetarian/vegan as well as having many options for vegans too! As a group of 8 we got to see a lot of the menu when all our food cane out and everyone was so happy with their meals. They have a great selection of Indonesian traditional meals and more western dishes too.

Beautiful Staff very friendly & accomodating, location is fantastic and close to everything , minimarts, atm’s, shopping, spas & bars. Food is amazing and Rama has the freshest best seafood in Legian at their restaurant & sports bar. Komang the manager is wonderful & goes above & beyond to help you with anything you need. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve slept on in Bali, Filtered water in every room, Tv , safe and a great pool . I’ve travelled to Bali many times and stayed in many hotels & villas but this is my favourite. Rama Garden is a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. I highly highly highly recommend staying at Rama.

Great location, close to beach shops and restaurants. All rooms located around pool, great for when travelling with a group. Pool area small and could do with more lounges. Rooms a little dated and showing signs of aging & wear & tear and cleaning could have been better. Daily room cleaning consisted of making the bed & change of towels only. We booked 4 rooms for a family group travelling together, and we given rooms in the very back corner of the hotel with no view and where staff accessed the back of hotel for cleaning, amenities etc. All beds in each room were very soft and lumpy from over use and need replacing. Overall, Hotel a little dated, daily cleaning of rooms could have been better. Breakfast very average. Staff were fantastic & very welcoming.

The Good

The hotel is in Legian, well placed for restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. The beach is only 500 metres away, and Sunset Road is 10 minutes away by cab.

The staff is excellent! Always friendly and helpful, day or night.

The room has a water dispenser which gives cold drinking water, saving you from buying water bottles. It also gives hot water for making coffee.

The hotel has a laundry corner with four washers and dryers. Guests can wash their clothes without any charge.

The rooms are set back from the street and are quiet. Comfortable beds, good sleep.

The Bad

The hotel is on the street, and your cab blocks traffic when you load or unload luggage.

The Ugly

Rama Garden doesn't respect reservations. We had booked months in advance, but the hotel allowed late check-out to earlier guests. We arrived at the correct check-in time, but had to wait until 6.30 pm for our room. This ruined our plans for the day, apart from the tedious wait.

No. Only 2 ladders. But at the shallow end, I think it's easier to get in on the platforms in the pool ( furthest away in photo) Hope that helps

As far as I remember no they don't, I think all rooms are identical but you can choose upper level or lower level which all face the pool. To be honest if your family is with young children there is not alot at this accommodation to keep them occupied as it's very small and private which is lovely for the adults but no space for the kiddies to play.
