Alam Kulkul was a good little hotel at the Legian beach end of the main beach road. Villas were quite nice with little outdoor-ish bathrooms. If in the 'cheap' room option (as I was) request a room with an even number- eg: 3102.... as they face the garden pool. The odd numbered side face a wall, but do have a...

The lobby and the outside very peaceful... The staff perfect Eka, Sutamin, Hendri and the security guards. Amazing hardworking people!! The rest it's really poor performance....starting from the smell pillow, really bad smell in bathroom, no hangers of any kind inside the bathroom. Walls and bed full of mold......And it was a "new deluxe" room. I think we can get...

The Alam Kulkul Boutique Resort has a very authentic Bali style, and a layout that lends itself to a relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable experience, al at a very reasonable cost. Our rooms where modern, clean and comfortable. There are two pool areas in the village style complex where you can swim and relax, one has a poolside bar. The breakfast...

We stayed here 2 times on our visit to Bali. Very quaint and the staff is very accommodating. The hot stone massage is amazing. The gardens and flowers are beautiful housing some of my favorite flowers.

Great location straight across from the beach, there is a short cut to jalan Legian through the back alleys if you know where you are going, we stayed in one of the villas this time and was worth it, much bigger room and bathroom. Couple laundries in Jalan Melasti and supermarkets that you can get your supplies from. 15-20 min...

We spoilt ourselves staying here but it was worth it, the rooms were fantastic, the staff were the absolute best we have ever had in our 8 years of travelling to Bali. The only down side was the pools closed too early for summer. The buffet breakfast was amazing. I cant stress enough the wonderful staff, the location was also...

The resort is beautifully tucked between two major star hotels and yet it still makes u glad u choose to stay here!! Inspite of it being spread out place (no building structure thankfully) its spotlessly clean. They have two beautiful swimming pools - both having their own charm! I choose to stay in the Alam Villa. Its a kind of...

We stayed at AlamKulKul after our stay in Ubud and probably that's why we weren't impressed by the city and the hotel. However, if you are into crowded places, the hotel is pretty OK. The design is quite authentic but it was too big of a place that you couldn't get very high quality service that is common in Bali....
