This hotel is one of the best around Legian with good walking distance to all shops and bars, staff are very polite and welcome you every morning, evening and late at night always cheerful. Great for kids as there is no main road at front of hotel with busy travel and so peaceful and quiet, beach is a stones throw across a non traffic road, so if its a relaxing holiday this is the place. You can walk out the side of the hotel straight into the main bars and restuarants or dine in the hotel. They have vilas for rent which makes you feel as if you are holidaying in your own private vlla with the hotel staff making the beds and freshing it up for you.

Legian Beach Hotel is truly an idyllic and relaxing Hotel, the bustle of the streets that encompass it are filled with shops restaurants and markets however the minute we return onto the property we are immediately back in a secured relaxed environment, we had a wonderful Christmas Season 2019/2020 holiday at Legian Beach Hotel. This Hotel continues to nurture a true sense of Bali and embody the reasons we love Bali. This year we thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and a sense of a somewhat peaceful isolation of staying in a Bungalow that we accessed by walking through beautifully maintained tranquil gardens filled with many fertile lush shady established varieties of plants trees and many fish ponds (with Koi fish and squirrel feeding times which was a joy to our 8year old daughter) , I particularly enjoyed the endless and multiple varieties of Frangipanis that lined the paths and gardens, these trees provide such a lovely fragrance to the air as we walked throughout the grounds. Hotel Staff were delightfully friendly and our room service attendants very professional , thoughtful considerate and thorough. The quiet safe road and access to the beach direct from the Hotel was extremely comforting, as our son surfed every day and he did not have to cross busy streets as the front road is closed to cars, there are many other positive things I could comment on, however for me the most important factor is that I felt like I was on a real tropical Holiday, Im so pleased Legian Beach Hotel preserves such a beautiful location and holiday destination, I have been travelling to Bali every year since 1986, although I understand to accommodate Bali's growing tourist industry more boutique style hotels are replacing the garden style hotels Im pleased and relieved that Legian Beach Hotel remains and continues to embody a true paradise island accommodation option.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Legian Beach Hotel! We had a garden view room on level two and it was lovely and spacious with a glass panelled balcony. All mod cons plus really comfy bed and pillows. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of greenery and well maintained. Staff are super friendly and happy, beautiful Balinese. There are four restaurants and two pools. One just for adults, which is nice if there are noisy kids around. 😂 Small gym if you need to workout and lovely day spa. The hotel is positioned well, near lots of restaurants, market stalls and the beach. The only small complaints- Prices are very high at the pool bar - $6.50 for a Bintang including tax. Cocktails end up being about $15 with tax. Second complaint is the Indonesian food at the breakfast buffet didn’t change. We wanted to have Indo every morning but it was always the same foods. Every other place we stayed they alternate. Main pool is looking a bit tired too, considering the price to stay here. Housekeeping sometimes not done till afternoon which is a bit of a hassle if you’ve been out all day and want to chill, then have to go out so they can clean. Highly recommend a stay here!👍
