We waited 2.5 years to get here, and it was worth the wait. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds; hotel had that Balinese feel. So close to everything. Great restaurants and the pool (adults only) was so relaxing. The staff were exceptional, and the Usadha Spa was great, we tried many services, and they were all brilliant. We will be back next March
We stayed here in 2018 and loved it and this time we had a tripadeal with great inclusions. We had a beach bungalow which was very roomy and the beds were very comfortable with more space between the twin beds than most places in Bali which I really appreciated. It is really convenient being close to garlic lane and shopping and also many spas and restaurants. The grounds are lovely and the staff so friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and they make the best, lightest pancakes I have ever had, may I have your recipe please? The adults only pool is divine with swim up bar and plenty of lounge chairs. I would definitely stay here again.
Great facilities, very friendly and accommodating staff, nice buffet breakfast. This is my second time staying at this resort. The adult swim up bar pool is so relaxing and the resort itself is across the road from the beach and central to great restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The to again to Molly and all of the friendly staff - from Julie E room 404
We didn’t book direct through Legian beach hotel but breakfast was included In out deluxe pool villa. Upon early arrival our room was ready .. yay. They also informed us we had complimentary Cappacino at breakfast as well as cocktails and canapés from. 1700-1800.. WOW our villa was amazing with private pool. The beds and pillows were the best I have ever had In Bali. Staff great and so accomadating. Will definitely stay here again
We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in August 2022. 3 adults and 1 child (14) stayed in a deluxe family loft room with 2 bathrooms. On arrival we were given a room with 1 bathroom and asked to be moved which was no problem at all. We were on the 2nd floor at the back of the hotel but had a nice garden view. The room was spotless but the ground floor bathroom was a little dated but no big deal. The grounds are just stunning and the pools were a perfect temperature. Staff can't do enough for you but the breakfast had some issues. We had omelettes each day and almost everyday they had egg shells in them. Another issue was there were never any clean tables!! Had to ask staff to reset them for us every time we went and we varied our times a lot. The buffet itself is huge and there are plenty of choices. I have chosen not to mark the hotel down in this review for the breakfast issues because as like most places I think everyone is still finding their feet after Covid !!! We had room service a couple of times and the food was good. The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. Garlic lane is a few minutes walk, there are spas, markets, bars and restaurants everywhere. We walked to everything including Kuta beach which took about 15 minutes. Legian beach is about a 6 minute walk from the rooms at the back. Beautiful sunset in the evenings. I usually stay in Sanur but I will without doubt stay at Legian Beach Hotel again when I next visit Bali!…
It was a highlight of our trip to stay in the deluxe pool villa. It was fantastic. Services and staff outstanding. Breakfast excellent too. Perfect location close to restaurants and shopping. Cannot wait to stay here again!!
We loved this hotel! Great restaurants, 2 large pools (1 for families and 1 for adults only with swim up bar) straight opposite the beach and very close to shopping and restaurants. Our deluxe room was beautiful with a large balcony. The resort is very clean and the staff are amazing. I have 1 negative … we stayed 4 nights here and each night at around 830pm until midnight there is a bar / nightclub nearby that blows the roof off with loud music. Not sure if it’s every night but certainly was for our 4 nights .
Never sure what to expect from a beach resort - but Legian Beach Hotel surprised on the upside. Seems to attract an older crowd, which suited us well - no lager louts, fights over lounger “bookings” or late night noise. It helps that there’s also an “adults only pool”, so no screaming kids there either. We booked a Garden Bungalow which was very comfortable. Initially we were booked into 25C - but were moved to 27A after a dreadful first night. 25C is on the very edge of the resort, right next to the noisy main road. Once we relocated, we slept extremely well. Resort staff are incredibly friendly and the service is attentive, albeit a little slow. Only real complaint was breakfast - not one change in five days, so it became very monotonous. Otherwise, F&B was good although cocktails are extremely weak and could use some attention. All in all, a surprisingly good resort and you can book with confidence.…
Nice hotel. Gardens are not quite there yet but Bali is still recovering from covid and it will take time to get everything up to scratch. Hotel itself is lovely but getting tired. Staff are very helpful and the pool, restaurant and bar facilities are great. Would definitely stay here again
My wife and I chose this hotel as we really enjoy staying in this area of Bali. Jalan Pantai has some great hotels along it and each time we go to Bali we like to try different accomodation. From the minute we were greeted in the lobby to the time we checked out, the hotel staff in every area of this complex could not have been more efficient and friendly. We chose the double garden bungalow (room 20A) and it was neat and clean and as the name suggests located not far from the pool and restaurant areas in the lovely gardens. The room to me was pretty standard without being outstanding. The aircon worked really well and was quiet. The fridge was a bar fridge but worked very well when turned up to near maximum to keep the Bintangs ice cold. 2 small bottles of water were provided daily. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable and the room was cleaned very well everyday. The room had a wardrobe and a programable safe as well. Towels were changed daily if you left them in the bath for this purpose. The small deck/patio had 2 chairs, a small table and a sun bed. Big enough for 2 people to sit and enjoy the quiet gardens while having a drink and a snack. We did buy mosquito coils and spray as there were a few around when the sun went down. This little deck also had a ceiling fan which was adequate to move the air around for cooling. What was not right with the room was the hot water. This was a bit hit and miss for at least 2 out of our 7 days. I went to reception to see the manger to have a quiet chat to see if it could be fixed but he was busy and never got back to me. If you’re paying $280 AUD a night in Bali you want everything about the room to work. Once I explained to reception what the issue was it did get better but still not 100% hot. Although there’s more to do in Bali than watch telly you’d like the option if you’re having a quiet night in. The television in this room was average at best. Not a big variety of movie or sports channels and the age of the tv meant it had sound issues that made it unbearable to watch. Breakfast was included in the price and it was superb. Everything you could want for was available, from cereal to Omelettes to fruit platters, waffles and pancakes. Assorted juices and pastries, bacon and Asian style cuisine as well. All of this was laid on from 0700-1000 am. The 2 x hotel pools were great. We used the adults only one with the swim up bar not the one with the kids club. The adult pool also had a spa pool that worked really well and the sun lounges with little tables and umbrellas were always available. The hotel has about 3 or 4 restaurants and we liked the 2 on the beach road where you could watch the sun set while enjoying a drink and dinner at a table or on a comfy couch and table. I loved the location. Close to beach, beach bars, Melasti st markets and massage spa’s. A quick $5 AUD taxi ride to the new Bintang market was perfect for trinkets, snacks, beer and water. I’d recommend this for couples and families and there are room upgrade options available to private villas with pools as well. My thoughts are this hotel has everything going for it and I was pretty happy with it. It’ll only get better and better once they get back into the swing of things after the covid shutdown. If the rooms were priced a little better this place would be booked out 12 months in advance every year. Great place to stay.…
