I have been seeing a lot of negative reviews about this hotel as far as the state of the room but mine was different. My room is not smelly nor does the air coming from the A/C. I stayed on a higher floor which probably made a difference or the building where it was at. The only complain I have... More

Dear 19Aloha76 Thank you very much for your positive review of your stay in with us in Bali. I am very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, thank you also for your great comments on the property. Wasn't our first choice but travel agent suggesting trying here, and what a find. Quiet, spacious rooms, adequate breakfasts and very responsive staff. Close to handy marts, dining and the beach. Lifts so slow, but rooms easily accessed via stairs. Rooms are of fair quality but the peacefulness of this location make it a new favourite.

clean, spacious, beautiful hotel. The staff were always friendly and very accommodating. We had a great time at this family friendly hotel, the location is amazing with the beach on one side and main street on the other, quiet as well, even though it's so close to the street.

My husband and I have just spent 16 nights staying at The Camakila and what a lovely place to stay. The staff in this resort can't do enough for you from being waited on hand and foot by the restaurant staff to the guys who clean your room each day. On arrival we were given a nice cool drink and... We were unsure of booking the Camakila because we saw it advertised under a few different names (The Ramada and the Raddison). We decided to go ahead and book as we were impressed with the images. Upon arriving we were extremely impressed. For $100 a night we were staying in a modest resort with dedicated staff. We later found out... More

We stayed at Camakila for 4 nights and were generally impressed by the location, staff, hotel and local amenities. Rooms were generous and comfortable. Bathrooms a bit dated but very clean and usable. Breakfast had decent variety. Main pool is big and not too busy. Infinity pool had excellent view of beach and enough sun loungers for all. Hotel has... More

We stayed at the Camakila from 4-9 June 2016. Staff were friendly, both pools were fantastic & the rooms were clean however our bathroom was very old. Great features: location, free wifi, huge beds in the room, breakfast and poolside meals. Very quiet location also which was great. I enjoyed staying here as it was a smaller resort (compared to...
